  • I was inspired by the old necromunda - outlanders expansion barricades and thought I could do a simple project to make something similar.
I have a new setup for my crafting station. One question, which is better? Overhead or over the shoulder camera angle.
This would be perfect to use as Warhammer 40k terrain, Kill Team terrain, Necromunda terrain or any other tabletop game.

Alright fella. To avoid the leaks, once you’ve painted the black and then taped it up. Do another coat of black as this will seal the tape edges, then do your yellows etc over the top. Should peel super cleanly. 👍🏼

Looking really good, I especially loved the barbed wire topped one! (Although I never get tired of hazard stripes either... and the patched one looks great too. Okay, I don't have a favourite.)

Those look awesome! I immediately forwarded it to a mate who is just getting into terrain crafting since this looks like a great and easy starting point!

Fantastic end result, especially the hazard striped piece. Good scatter terrain really sets the mood for a gaming table.
Could you take a shot at some high tech scatter terrain? Some surveillance posts, control terminals, power nodes etc? All your work so far has been very industrial so a bit more sci-fi might be cool. (If you're into that, I'm learning how to play Necromunda so I'm getting interested in 40k world building.)

Thanks again dude. Yeah, I had the same thought, making some sci fi detail bits which can be used on other terrain builds or as scatter. I am definitely gonna build some soon

Oooh good stuff! You're always so much more precise than me, actually measuring things. I need to try working like that, so that I can have multiple pieces that look like they fit together.

Nothing special, just cheap acrylic craft paint
