  • In this video, I show how I make some industrial walkways. I use chipboard for the main part and card, cable ties and bbq skewers for the details. I hope you enjoy!
    This would be perfect to use as Warhammer 40k terrain, Kill Team terrain, Necromunda terrain or any other tabletop game.

    Looking really good, such ubiquitous walkways are one of the most useful items in my opinion. It's very timely you did the railings like that, I've been looking for a simple technique for this -- probably going to steal this idea wholesale on my weekend build!

      Just out of curiosity, if you build this, which one would you build, blue one or the damaged one, or a bit of both?😁

      @@SJsCraftingWorld Definitely the damaged one; my own terrain depicts a very poorly maintained Underhive, so I add detail with damage everywhere I can (and often use it to cover mistakes).

    Really nice pieces! Simple to make and stunning at the end, definitely gonna be making some of these for my own terrain set ups!

    friendly tip, you should seal before gluing the mesh on, that way you don't have to fight to get it into the little gaps.

    I've been slowly researching ways to build more industrial builds. Been doing mostly fantasy.

      Very nice. Lot's more of this kind of stuff to come.

    A question from an inexperienced terrain builder, what's the reason for the sealing?

    • @SJsCraftingWorld
      @SJsCraftingWorld  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Card and chipboard will quite often warp with straight painting if you don't seal it. Also makes it a little more durable.

      @SJsCraftingWorld  ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean, what scale minis? If so, I made this for 28mm e.g warhammer.
