Stevean2 I was using LastPass but stopped because I was worried about that same thing. I use iCloud Keychain because I think Apple is a big enough company to trust. I think Apple would have some of the most secure data protection ever invented. I’m not confident in using a smaller company like Dashlane though. Especially as it isn’t free.

I will forever applaud Russell for bringing back the Macra from the Troughton era! Also inter species relationships and an old lesbian couple? And people say S11 was too PC! 😂
I kind of like the way RTD handled it nonchalantly, to be honest. Not saying that newer seasons having progressive values is necessarily bad as DW has always had broadly political themes in many of its episodes, but quieter and more toned down representation is (in some ways) more respectful and helps to normalise it somewhat. That approach does have its flaws as it limits the scope of issues the show can examine, of course, but it's neat.
@@SMokkery It mostly is for Doctor Who fans. Right from the beginning of the revival it has been pretty clearly pro lgbt. Just look at RTD's prior work, or just about any Torchwood episode. It's hard to be a fan and also not like gay people.
if you are watching doctor who on netflix, the season 3 final episode has 15 minutes cut out of it because it's the 'american version' but it is only that episode

This episode has always stuck with me thanks to the work they do on a production and visual level, there's some really creative stuff throughout and genuinely awesome shot compositions here and there. It's also endlessly re-watchable. It's especially fascinating when you consider what kinds of TV shows surrounded Doctor Who at the time.
To be honest I've always had a soft spot for this episode, no idea why it's not like I have a special connection with it... I just really enjoy it. Maybe it's Tennant. Let's face it it's probably Tennant (what a hunk)
Totally , I think it was the first Doctor Who episode I saw , on soo many levels its a great little story that genuenly terrified me as a kid and is very impactful, Harry's review of it was fair enough ofcourse an Awesome Video from Harry as allways , I might rate it a 7 or 8 out of 10
If you're reviewing the netflix version of the episodes I just want to warn you that the netflix version of the series 3 finale has some scenes cut out of it, which makes the viewing experience a bit weird.
@@theamelia4580 the ones that come to mind are in the Last Of The Time Lords, in the break out scene where Martha's family and Jack are trying to escape. And in the scene where the Master dies at the end. It's been a few months, but those two I remember having weird cuts in them.
amelia so the Netflix version of the episodes are actually taken from the syndicated American airings of the episodes rather than the original British airings. I think the reasons the scenes were cut was because of the American airings having advert breaks which the British BBC airings didn't. The most notable cut moment to me was the one where Martha's mother attempts to shoot the master, but is talked out of it by the doctor. It's notable because it's supposed to be an incredibly powerful moment and it happens right in the middle of an intense scene, and there's just a very awkward cut in its place. With this cut Martha's mother goes from being composed one second to crying in Martha's arms with no explanation.

This is easily one of my favorite episodes, I just I loved the small scale world building of the roadway and the under city, I cared about basically every character introduced (the couple that took Martha got on my nerves sometimes though) and I like the continuation of another episode I love New Earth, and there are some really emotional parts of the episode like when they all sing together
I wouldn't use Netflix to watch Who, for some reason they cut out a few scenes here and there. I only realised this because they cut out 10 minutes of Last of the time lords. I'd recommend you watch it on iplayer they don't seem to cut anything out.
Possibly they have some version which used to be broadcast on tv different from BBC? BBC has no adbreaks, and I remember when watching dvd version of the show with dub from tv version, episodes went mute for a few seconds when there was supposed to be ad break, thats why you lose a few seconds every episode, and last of the time lords was probably trimmed down more, because it was longer than your average episode, which makes sense to be cut for TV, but why would netflix have such terrible version?

I don't know if you can or not but If you can try and watch the other episodes on bbc iplayer or dvd/blueray as Netflix cuts certain scenes out. The main one I can think of is the final of series 3: Master singing scissor sisters, Master talking about visiting a place made of gold while the they try to escape, Martha's mum pointing a gun at the Master, Martha visiting the people she met during her year after time reverted. I know it's a rewatch but just help to have them there. Not sure what else netflix (american version) cuts out but that was the major one.

That thing about the closing down of the hospital being a possible contributing factor to the disease that wiped everyone out, I've always wondered about that too. I always thought it was funny that Novice Hame didn't at least mention that to the Doctor. Then again I suppose it was technically Cassandra who was responsible. Then again, if she hadn't then the Doctor would have done something himself, I'm sure.
That "you can only hear the score in the left channel" is more common then you think, If you were watching this episode with the audio from the TV, you wouldn't even hear it.
this has always been one of my favorite episodes. I just find it very emotional- the song and the driving up always make me cry and the YANA reference always gives me chills :}
It's an eh episode otherwise, but I absolutely love the Doctor telling Martha of Gallifrey at the end. The imagery is incredibly beautiful, and you can truly see the pain and sorrow and regret in Tennant's eyes as he speaks.

ngl this is my favourite episode, i watched it over and over again cause i really got hit with the feeling of being completely abandoned down in those tunnels, no-one's coming to help, everyone's just been left to die
The episode opens with a news broadcast that casually mentions carjackings, its a little line that you take as normal then forget about. But on a rewatch, how terrifying is it that someone is out there hijacking people's homes?
This episode contains a same-sex and different species couples and a jab at social media (Almost) with the "They need to be in your friends list" line from Catman Brannigan (Which I am still considering his first name, thanks Doctor Who Magazine in 2007) and THAT'S why I love Russell T Davies. That bit about the ending theme is WEIRD. Must have been a reason for it, it seems like an awfully difficult mistake to make.
Probably the episode I've rewatched the most. I know it's nothing special, but I'm fond of Branigan and I don't why but I love te Face of Bow. I think it's pretty solid and has a nice happy ending and Martha/Doctor has a nice bit of growth
is it just me that absolutely loves this episode? ive seen a lot of channels/fans talk down about it but its classic doctor who to me! i rewatch it a lot and loved the concept of everyone being stuck in cars for years. 🤷
I do miss the Makra Crabs, yeah they weren't the most interesting characters, but at the same time they are kinda like the Kiteman of Dr Who, caracters that should excist to remind people that the main character faced these thigs during a different time. That and they were kinda the only villain from the second Doctors era that are still in new Who.

I was simply replying to someone who seemed confused as to why cyber man weren’t included in my list of second doctor era villains brought to the new series. I originally didn’t include them as they were introduced in the 1st doctor’s era. The 5,000,000,000 trilogy is honestly great. Doctor Who doesn't have enough worldbuilding-focussed far, far future episodes that get the imagination running like these three.
Though now I think about it, the concept doesn’t exactly work, if they have these flying car things and they can move freely when above ground why not just travel that way? And hell if it’s just a few miles just walk
It would be years until anyone on Doctor Who would actually see New York City and not just assume it's America's London. (Motorway? Theater spelled Theatre in the depression episode. Americans say lift) Have you SEEN New York drivers? The second that sky opens up everybody's dead from the galaxy's biggest collision. Points if there is a New New Jersey and New GW Bridge with an eternal century old 200 car pile up that never got fixed.

Yeah, Russell really knew the best ways to save on budget since he used the London Eye as a plot device in his first ep.
And then you got Steven Moffat turning people in gas masks, inanimate statues, and literally just shadows into effective monsters.

This episode kind of reminds me a little bit of the melancholy hill video.
The episode opens with a news broadcast that casually mentions carjackings, its a little line that you take as normal then forget about. But on a rewatch, how terrifying is it that someone is out there hijacking people's homes?
This episode contains a same-sex and different species couples and a jab at social media (Almost) with the "They need to be in your friends list" line from Catman Brannigan (Which I am still considering his first name, thanks Doctor Who Magazine in 2007) and THAT'S why I love Russell T Davies.
That bit about the ending theme is WEIRD. Must have been a reason for it, it seems like an awfully difficult mistake to make.

Probably the episode I've rewatched the most. I know it's nothing special, but I'm fond of Branigan and I don't why but I love te Face of Bow. I think it's pretty solid and has a nice happy ending and Martha/Doctor has a nice bit of growth
is it just me that absolutely loves this episode? ive seen a lot of channels/fans talk down about it but its classic doctor who to me! i rewatch it a lot and loved the concept of everyone being stuck in cars for years. 🤷

I do miss the Makra Crabs, yeah they weren't the most interesting characters, but at the same time they are kinda like the Kiteman of Dr Who, caracters that should excist to remind people that the main character faced these thigs during a different time. That and they were kinda the only villain from the second Doctors era that are still in new Who.

I was simply replying to someone who seemed confused as to why cyber man weren’t included in my list of second doctor era villains brought to the new series. I originally didn’t include them as they were introduced in the 1st doctor’s era. Considering they brought up cybermen I then brought up the Daleks since if we’re just listing monster that appeared in the second doctor’s era who’ve returned then we should just include all of them:

Just a bit of advice try and put the ad end or even middle of the video, I understand without them you wouldn't be able to do this but it might help with viewer retention. It would be years until anyone on Doctor Who would actually see New York City and not just assume it's America's London. (Motorway? Theater spelled Theatre in the depression episode. Americans say lift) Have you SEEN New York drivers? The second that sky opens up everybody's dead from the galaxy's biggest collision. Points if there is a New New Jersey and New GW Bridge with an eternal century old 200 car pile up that never got fixed.
Never been huge on this. Just a bit boring and dull, the idea could’ve worked but imo it didn’t. There’s not much that makes me wanna rewatch it too often.
