    24 miles is 38 km .. just multiply by 1.6 like the APSC crop factor ;) .. great videos !

    Wow awesome video. Thanks for making & sharing this video. Beautiful Paradise! Personally, I don't want to deal with the crowd. I prefer to go off season. Keep up the good work.❤️👍🏽

    Awesome video! I loved all the explaining, I'm going next month for my first time. Bringing all my camera gear similar to what you have and staying 4 nights. Its gonna be a tough one, I loved all your footage and photos!

    I'm going there next week... I believe you said it was -3 degrees at night... how is it that you're in shorts and short sleeved shirt? I believe there will be snow when I'm there and the cold intimidates me, although it won't stop me. I noticed your friend wearing short sleeved shirt on the hike back up walking through the snow... does the hike itself keep you warm or how do you explain this?
    Is Havasu Falls the furthest from the Lodge and Supai Village? You said you would see Mooney and Navajo Falls on the way out.....

      Amy Proctor Hahaha, -3 Celcius so about 28 F. During the day it's hot in the canyon. Well, warm. It's likely going to be around 70F but in the shade it's really cold, which is why there's snow in the shade. And, yeah, the hike will keep you warm. Be sure to pack lots of water.
      Actually, Mooney Falls is the furthest away. From the lodge it's Navajo, Havasu, the Campsite, and then Mooney. Personally, Mooney is my favourite.

      Brendan van Son OMG I was wondering what superhuman powers you had that allowed you to wear shorts in -3 temps! Lucky me, it's gonna be in the single to double digits Fahrenheit when I'm there, 40+ during the day. I've been an Army wife for almost 22 years so I can take it, especially with the Army's awesome clothing and supplies store.They have thin insulated glove and sock inserts that really do the job. Plus ski masks. I really recommend civilians try army surplus stores for cold weather gear, which work great for photographers who catch sunrises.
      I'm taking a couple full Camelbaks.
      Great feedback. I appreciate you taking the time. Thanks again! and I look forward to more videos!

    Do you need any special permits to shoot or camp there?

    • @BrendanvanSon
      @BrendanvanSon  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You do, but get them in the town of Supai when you walk through. No need for permits for photography as long as you're not on a commercial project.

      You'll need a permit ahead of time to camp there. Please don't hike all the way down with out a reservation. There is no day hiking aloud and rangers do enforce permits. Registration opens Feb 1st every year and fills up almost immediately. Except winter months.
