Hunter is an exceptional rider. It was his rookie season. Dazzy taught him to be analytical and told Jett to do what Hunter does. Jett is the rider he is because of Hunter
Massive Of both Jett and Hunter… But to be honest I think it’s a bit of a stretch to say that now. Yeah maybe earlier in Jett’s career but now we just have to recognise that Jett is just a phenom and Hunter doesn’t have much to teach Jett anymore…

I know getting away from bro & dad could go wrong & super scary but Hunter could win & win chips if he was on a different team than lil bro. He probably smoked Jett till Jett used always riding/racing vs older bro to better himself & hasn’t looked back. Ever since I believe Hunter became ok with losing to Jett. If Hunter got away from Jett & felt that competitive nature that would naturally make him push to win. I think he just settles. He’s gotten better than many thought. His speed isn’t far behind Jett & his consistency is already there. He’s finally had multiple years injury free. I blv if he stops looking at Jett just as lil bro he could beat him & win a chip he’s just gonna have to push harder but be smart knowing the points when to push & to settle. Hunter mindset seems to be every race what most mature championship riders do certain races a year so they don’t throw a chip away & that’s settling on an off night for 2nd or 3rd. Hunter is chill but deep down he has to want to kick lil bros ass. I’ve been there. My bro is older. So I felt bad so I’d ease up so I didn’t embarrass him. Jett never has eased up so Hunter just needs to act like he’s lil bro & gonna do what ever to beat lil bro.
Everyone talking about Jett but what's more impressive to me is a 32 yr old coming back from injury and not racing a full series in forever and beating Jett and Hunter in multiple motos, Jett is young injuries heal up faster but I believe we will see Jett and Hunter get beat multiple times in 2025 sx and mx.

I agree and this is a great point that I believe alot of people are missing.
Eli is alot older than Jett and for him to come back from both the injuries he's had and hang with Jett and Hunter is wildly impressive and I think shows that Eli isn't done winning yet. A lot of people underestimate him and don't understand that coming back from what he's been through is a lengthy process especially at his age. Don't sleep on Eli he's not going to take steps backwards people and he's always been strong at adapting and overcoming new challenges. Eli's taking notes and applying what he's learned. In other words Eli is exception to the rule that "old dogs can't learn new tricks".

everyone needs to remember that Jett claims he has never once had arm pump. this has to be half the reason for his greatness, as there is none of that fear of "locking-up" or "getting-tight" to stress him out when he needs to push it. it's gotta be partly why he is so strong mentally and physically.

People that say this are delusional. Is Deegan good? Yes, but he won't be able to ride the 450 like he rides the 250, he won't be able to keep up with the tope 4 or 5 right away
Speaking of the MXDN. I think Yamaha should replace Webb with Deegan because Deegan is a BEAST on a 250 , he's vertually unbeatable and thats what the US team needs to win the MXDN. Webb is a fast rider but he hasnt shown the winning prowess he had last year. Deegan is a sure thing to win and thats what we need going up against the fast europeans.
I’d say McGrath had a start like if not better than Jet. He won the 91&92 SX 125 West Championships then from what the next 6 years in a row the 250 championships. His 250 full season debut in 93 he won against Stanton, Bradshaw, LaRocco, Guy Cooper, Keidrowski, Larry Ward, Matasevich, Steve Lamson, Jeff Emig, and can’t remember if the French dude that won the 91SX came back in 93.

I think Jett proved that Eli Tomac is going to be in for a LO-O-NG year in 2025 if this final round was any indication.
I didn't see that interview with Chase Sexton and KTM, but it seems there are quite a bit of shady people on staff at KTM. I'm shocked that they just give you the bike and it's "sink or swim" after that. That's not how to run a team, especially someone like KTM.
Part of me feels that Max Vohland got chewed up and spit out from Pro Circuit Kawasaki. When it was reported Austin Forkner was going to Triumph, I thought that was the break Max needed, but instead, he's signed to a different team. If ClubMX doesn't work out for Max Vohland, his career's down the toilet.

I would highly disagree about the field being the tightest field or toughest..... I have the unpopular opinion that Jett has had a cakewalk of a transition to the 450 class coming into one of the historically oldest fields...... Jett's had a wonderful time having one or two guys that can run with him on any given day..... In his perfect season excluding Sexton his biggest competition was Plessinger, which looking back in 2022 who were your winners and where were they in 2023? So... was the undefeated season that impressive considering? Deegan or a healthy Forkner moves up and in my opinion Jett doesn't look so superhuman with a little competition that is more his skill level...... again I'm sure this is a unpopular opinion........
I think the relationship between Chase and KTM is hurting both of them. Chase’s comments makes the KTM motorcycle look bad, but also hurts his ability to go ride for another brand if he chooses to do so. The goal is to ultimately sell more bikes, so would you hire someone who may openly talk bad about your motorcycle? Yes, the honesty is great to hear for fans, but I don’t he is doing himself any favors when and if he decides to change brands/teams. May be best for both parties to part ways if they can’t come together a little better. Hope that doesn’t happen, b/c I personally like hearing his candid interviews.
I must be the only one but I have saw kinks in Jett’s armor. But it will take someone who is a pure bulldog with the skills to push him and is able to frustrate him. He is a talent that is almost unbelievable. He has an ability to do things that blows everyone’s mind. I just feel we will see his faults in the next two years because he is literally at a point that there is only nac nac McMaster record left to conquer. If we can get a Tomac who is hungry and decides to go to the dark place he can break Jett
@@Bodie2020 The guy who will be able to take Jett down will be the one who can latch onto his rear fender and dog him relentlessly until the last lap just like RC did to his early competition. That was RC's specialty, and he used it to break even the fastest guys, and when the smoke finally settled, it earned him the title of Greatest Of All Time.
Tomac will never break Jett tomac is at the end he is one of the best to ever do it. But his time is limited an he will not put his health in the line to beat Jett. I don't blame him he has his kids to enjoy an a long great life to look forward to tomac is a bad ass always will be
Deegan will be the one to take him down. He's got the heart, determination, and obviously skill to do it. By that time, Jett won't have much motivation left in him. It will happen, and it will be fun to watch.

Chance H will be a force to reckon with as long as he stays healthy in 2025.. Riding with J Law and Hunter, is an influence as you can even see it in his riding style as of late.. I cannot comment on whether or not this is just balls or just ability at times I’m sure it’s a little of each, but nobody does it better than Deegan right now.. his bike skill is off the chain.. any mortal man would’ve been laying there in pieces, but he pulls it off
As an older brother I feel for Hunter, my younger brother started racing 5 years after me and I trained him using the knowledge and past mistakes within a year he was as fast as me which pushed me to another level because I would crash rather than let him beat me. Over the next five years we kept leveling up together and I always had a small edge on him on the ground and he would hit the big jumps, that I would not hit. I always felt he would push me past my limit and then be faster than me but I got hurt and stopped racing due to getting married. he stopped also because I was his racing partner and mechanic.
Nice to see vohland get a good multi-year opportunity. A lot has been said about how teams and our sport doesn't properly develop amateurs, and we just saw Pierce brown win big after a rough go the last few years, so it takes time not everyone can be jett or Deegan right out of the box. Don't forget vohland won his heat race at Anaheim 1 and was battling for a podium until he slowed down too much for the yellow flags then he got hurt right after that.
Glenn Coldenhoff despite being 33 years old, the man can podium just look at Arnhem this year super good and passionate rider. He can deliver when it comes down to it, don’t sleep on him or the netherlands
Why Chase when won races say everything is ok , setup perfect and when lose races a lot critics about the KTM ? I can’t understand….
Jet is young … things happen in the sport. He could have a massive injury and never quite recover or be the same. These things have happened to others so you just take it year by year.

Kinda feel like that villopoto era was the most exciting time for Supercross, like dominant yes but still good racing

RC made the nationals so boring when he was on his tear... At least with Jett he doesnt feel the need to beat the field by 30 seconds and make the entire race seem boring! I cant wait to see him and Deegan battle it out in a year or two!

I think it would be kind of cool to see Chase on a different color bike… someone like Suzuki or Triumph that would be willing to work with Chase and give him whatever he wants bike wise. He would elevate their brand, while elevating himself and getting freedom…. I personally think Chase regrets going to KTM….
for sure he hates the bike, and was dumb to expect otherwise after watching Webb and Craig struggle. was easy to predict all this. how about a lower tier Kawi team?... Chase's style suits a Kawi i think. Triumph when they have proven their 450. or Ducati. he has the speed to keep a desmo revving out nicely.

It is my ignorance, I don’t know much about Fantic other than I have a bicycle.
I really liked the Fantics before they sold out to Yamaha. If I remember correctly, they were called the Scuderia or something similar. Those dual front brakes were cool looking, although I don't know how they actually worked. Plus, the frame construction looked like nothing I've seen before. I wish they stayed the course instead of going with a twenty year old Japanese design.

I agree with your assessment of the Chase and KTM situation. Honestly, I thought that was a bad move on his part when it happened. Things did not go well with Cooper, so why would they with Chase. It is understandable that Chase saw the writing on the wall and wanted to get out of the shadow of Jett and Hunter, but honestly..... he would have been better off staying with Honda, assuming that was an option.
KTM is a disappointing team, which is puzzling just looking at the overall team and the riders they have. Whatever.
To piggyback your comment, Jett looked unstoppable, but at least for the most part there is at least a little drama during the race. Jett's management skills are impressive. Watching him follow Eli and pick his scheme apart was really cool, and when he decided to go, it was epic.
I really enjoy watching him win, but more importantly how he does it and how he handles adversity. There really are not many holes in his approach and It is nice to see how he is maturing. Great kid, and unbelievable talent. That is my short response (sorry).... lol, 😂
What do you mean "things did not go well with Cooper?" Cooper was better on the KTM, winning two 450 SX titles with them and none on the Yamaha.

No one remembers last year because it happens every single year and rinse and repeat.

HRC was not gonna work due to the brother's, but he shoulda gone anywhere but to a Euro bike. it's hard to adapt. he's been on Honda since the start.
i think Kawi would have fit his style. Adam was doing great on one a few yrs back. Ando has not had any bike issues. but yeah the most sense would have just been to do what Fernandes did... Firepower Honda. look what Kenny could do in the whoops on their bike.
