Most of the Hoshido girls , outside of Hana and Setsuna, have good to decent characters with some backstory while the guys ,outside of Kaze and Ryoma, are either angry, conceited, or horny.

Kagero was the first character I married when I played Birthright. She is a complete sweetheart. In my opinion, I think she secretly had a crush on the avatar because she was always willing to protect him. One of the reasons I married her is because she is so sweet. One of the other two reasons you can probably guess for yourselves, the other is the fact that she becomes an absolute sweetheart after you marry her, even during the scenes in the private quarters, even though she will still want to protect you all the time. Although, I had no problems with her wanting to protect the avatar all the time. Again, thats my opinion though.
dee string truth be told. prior to my first run, i actually looked up the female roster for birthright to decide my first wife on the run. and im a sap for ninja wives. being busty is a plus.
Trey Bentley i actually switched it up and went with a female character for that run (to go with the box art cover design) and went with laslow (ignis) because i wanted to see what would the kana relationship be. Since azura's kid is the same as lucina in terms of dialogue, kana wouldnt get much from that. plus. i wanted to get more of the kids royal blood. though if i had to choose from the conquest path for female characters, I would say Flora. I actually like like her as a character.

I've figured it out. Corrin's portrait always bugged me, vet I couldn't find out why. It's his hair. The in game model shows the hair coming down the side of his face to be symmetrical, but the hair on the side revere of the player's POV is too far back for that to be the case. They fucked it up.
God Corrin x Kagero is underrated. Most support conversations Corrin has with a Hoshido character, they either treat him like crap or act gimmicky just to impress him. Kagero is one of the few women who treated Corrin with respect. Sure she might be older than the dragon Prince, but at least she’s mature unlike Takumi, Sakura, Hana and Rinkah. And besides, Kagero might teach Corrin a few moves during their wedding night she’s had during her relationship with Saizo before they broken up.
Incidentally, her voice is deeper in Japanese. Hell, Soleil's JP voice is also deeper. I'm surprised how many English voices were actually higher-pitched.

+asanti2539 Because when you S rank one of your siblings, they are told so by Mikoto by a letter, Except for ryoma as he knew all along, but if you do marry them, Basically they'll say Mikoto foresaw the romance and gave whichever sibling (besides Ryoma) a letter explaining it, hence why all hoshidan siblings can be married, as they are your step siblings.

Also he didn't marry anybody in this variation. As for S Ranks. I need to get to back to work on those. I have just been busy lately.

Kagero was the first character I married when I played Birthright. She is a complete sweetheart. In my opinion, I think she secretly had a crush on the avatar because she was always willing to protect him. One of the reasons I married her is because she is so sweet. One of the other two reasons you can probably guess for yourselves, the other is the fact that she becomes an absolute sweetheart after you marry her, even during the scenes in the private quarters, even though she will still want to protect you all the time. Although, I had no problems with her wanting to protect the avatar all the time. Again, thats my opinion though.

dee string truth be told. prior to my first run, i actually looked up the female roster for birthright to decide my first wife on the run. and im a sap for ninja wives. being busty is a plus.
Trey Bentley i actually switched it up and went with a female character for that run (to go with the box art cover design) and went with laslow (ignis) because i wanted to see what would the kana relationship be. Since azura's kid is the same as lucina in terms of dialogue, kana wouldnt get much from that. plus. i wanted to get more of the kids royal blood. though if i had to choose from the conquest path for female characters, I would say Flora. I actually like like her as a character.
It was a really tough call who to put my Corrin with....
Next Birthright/Revelation run, she'll be next. I like her a lot.

I've figured it out. Corrin's portrait always bugged me, vet I couldn't find out why. It's his hair. The in game model shows the hair coming down the side of his face to be symmetrical, but the hair on the side revere of the player's POV is too far back for that to be the case. They fucked it up.
If you use actively use Kagero, why is the voice a surprise?

God Corrin x Kagero is underrated. Most support conversations Corrin has with a Hoshido character, they either treat him like crap or act gimmicky just to impress him. Kagero is one of the few women who treated Corrin with respect. Sure she might be older than the dragon Prince, but at least she’s mature unlike Takumi, Sakura, Hana and Rinkah. And besides, Kagero might teach Corrin a few moves during their wedding night she’s had during her relationship with Saizo before they broken up.
Good thing they didnt mess up this relationship in our American release

+asanti2539 Because when you S rank one of your siblings, they are told so by Mikoto by a letter, Except for ryoma as he knew all along, but if you do marry them, Basically they'll say Mikoto foresaw the romance and gave whichever sibling (besides Ryoma) a letter explaining it, hence why all hoshidan siblings can be married, as they are your step siblings.

asanti2539 Because Mikoto explains that he married her while corrin was all ready born, basically Hinoka says something along the lines of "she cam with a child in hand, you, but father took you in and raised you as his own" it is explained.

Okay, what the hell. I really like Kagero and Orochi as characters, they're two of my favorites, but what the actual hell were they thinking with their voices??? They don't suit the characters at all.
