Enter Tokyo Drift. This is how the game starts in TokyoDrift. There's a big choice of cars. I recommend to take the Levin for ca. Cr. 8000 or the Trueno which is a bit more expensive (ca. Cr. 8800). The others have more HP as stock cars and do look better, but are also more expensive and even slow -_-'.

I played this game online for ps2 and no one is ever online . I like the game graphics and controls . fun game to play for any tuner and drifter fan of high speed .
I wasn't expecting anyone online when everyone has a PS4.

There might be differences between the PAL and NTSC versions of this game. Due to an unknown reason, the Honda dealership was removed in the PAL version and shows instead of a NSX a supra. This also affects your opponents and drops the amount of outrun racers from 40 to 32

Yep, cos of licensing issues for the PAL ver. , all Honda cars were removed, 8 of the roll up racers used NSXs so they got removed, and crew opponents that used Honda cars got changed as well. Too bad...😓

@theangryemonerd I would agree entirely... if TXR had drifting on mountain passes, the same selection of American cars (or even half the amount). It's a better highway racer for sure but Tokyo Drift does a lot more than highway racing.

In my opinion I think it’s a pretty good game but it has some things that make it difficult to play is the mechanics of drifting in the game
this game was one of the best, the drift mechanics were pretty hard and u had so maney ways to drift.
not like other games when u just gotta pull the e brake and go slide , this game u had like the glutch power slide where u just jump on the glutch real quick so the tires start spinning etc so much fun
Does anyone remember the lights u can put on your tires and when u drive they would make a light circle around the wheels?

Changing your transmission can change the gear ratios, which can affect your top speed as a result. I forgot which stage gives you the highest top speed, I think it's stage 3 not sure.

What's the version of your fast and furious tokyo drift? Because the car you started off with are different. I remember the starter car are the NSX R instead of the supra

Actually a debate between power and control makes a choice of the corvette Z06 for more grip,or the Saleen coupe for power.
What I know is , I got my corvette to 275 with no nitrous and it has good control
I thought the first car you use on the Wangan was a Honda NSX. You can start with a Supra?
wes276 Region difference. Honda and Acura are not available in the PAL version.

When the Trueno is full upgraded. when you are having the top speed in Aqualine, do not shift up to 6th gear because the 6th gear will low your speed, just stay in 5th gea r(Manual Transmission)
I think it's possible to use the 6th gear for that car, however, the aerodynamic drag is an issue(u know what im talking about), maybe needs additional power to fight drag(it's not a transmission issue).
I used the 86 and in 5th gear, I reached 225 MPH to 230 MPH but when I shifted to 6th gear my speed descended to 200 mph. But try to use the 86 in that game AGKfan64 with all Level 5 upgrades. You'll know what i'm sayin'
yup, upgrading solves the problem of deceleration in 6th gear due to insufficient power to fight drag

You dont get it? Here's the hint, this game is equipped with dynamics and physics, so that gives you the idea on how your car will react in this situation.

i dont understand why my integra typer r has top speed of 141(5th gear) only after transmission, differential, turbo n intercooler upgrades at stage 4, n top speed went down to 130 after install k20 engine. i though i can get 6th gear after k20 engine but this is nightmare! anyone here can help me please?

It's actually the same for both NTSC PS2 ver. and the PAL PS2 ver. , they changed it on the PSP version to the entire length of the Wangan Bridge (basically a long drag race on both roads of the highway), which is more tougher.

I love this game too bad I don't have it anymore. But when I had it was the best game I played. After the first race with the NSX I bought a 2nd Gen RX-7 the game had some pretty good sounds for that car. Most of the time I wouldn't do the races I would just cruise because I love how the city is in this game right after I watched Tokyo Drift. Very Nostalgic :D
The sense of speed was also very good in this game :D

The best car when tuned at max is rue Nissan Silvia S15 spec-c, toi van go To 210 mph with it
Nice choice. That will do well. Though, In my own opinion, the Toyota Levin is unquestionably the fastest car in the game. When fully upgraded with the 2JZ-GTTE engine swap option, the Levin can reach 228mph. It walks away from the fastest competitors in the game with ease.
253 MPH with Corvette Z06 (not fully upgraded), but it has slippery handling
I play this game in ppsspp, but the starter car is NSX, and there is no npc car...

You have the US ROM, and the traffic cars are available, but they can only be loaded by changing a particular setting of the PPSSPP emulator
