I think you should have used some longer zip ties for the brake cable hahaha ;-)

I always come up with questions. so the brakes slow down and stop the wheels but what happens to the motor? It is still trying hard to spin fast. do the brakes fight the spinning engine? would that not be bad for the engine to fight the spin? seems that to suppress the spin while it is fighting you to keep spinning would be bad.

When you brake you take your foot off the throttle, since the engine is not receiving any throttle input it isn't continuing to accelerate, and yes it's still rotating and the piston is moving, but the force is much less as the engine isn't actively trying to counter the force applied by the brakes. The main resistance and strain being put on the sprocket and drive gears, and while yes it's slowing the Pistons revolutions down it is 's not directly opposing the force of the brakes since there is no power applied therefore the is minimal strain on the crankshaft and internal gears, you also have to consider that these engines have to have their Pistons replaced at least every 10-20 hours of run time and the bottom end bearings and gears serviced after 50ish hours. So there is a lot of strain on the engine but most of it is from high RPM and hard racing, it's not nearly as much force than if you were holding the brakes and smashing the throttle as the engine is basically slowing itself down when you lift off as the rpm goes down and therefore the speed goes down (provided you shift down) hope that made sense.

I'd hoped you showed how to bleed the front brakes. But it's not the separate hand brake type and the linked vid didn't show how the front works at all.

yeah the same way with the hand operated. Pressure, open bleed valve, close bleed valve, release pressure.
