I kept hearing some good things about Empire's End so I came here. You gave a great overview which led me to back it. Thank you, excellent work as always!
Really love the look of this one! The decisions about when to take disasters is really intriguing and seems like it would make for some tricky decisions.
Great overview! I've been looking forward to this game for a few months and am excited to be learning more about it now that it is live on Kickstarter👍
Correction, I think: at 12:34 you say that in a conflict phase the player with the least amount of conflict strength applies the upheaval effect - the currently posted version of the rulebook says that ALL players that did not have the most conflict strength perform the swap indicated at the bottom of the card.
Hi Joshua, you are welcome! TH-cam is kinda strange in that if we send the video link to the publisher and have it listed as "scheduled to go live at XYZ time" it makes the video unviewable to them. For this reason we have to send it "unlisted" and have to manually make it go live when we wake up and are notified the campaign has launched lol.
They've scaled it down by removing the double disasters and combination phases, otherwise, it plays exactly the same. The resource exchange between players is at a lower scale, so you have to be very careful about not overpaying early, but definitely still works at 2.

Great job with the play overview, as usual. I'm going to keep my eye on this one

Exactly what I needed to make an informed decision for this one. Thank you! Great vid as always.
Thank you!
Received my copy today, thank you... great tutorial!
Great explainer vid - got a good sense of not only how to play, but also what goes into the key decisions.

Nice job. I'm going to check this out. Thanks!
Hope you enjoy it Ian!
A very intriguing game. The theme is great.
So it's a little bit like a much more involved and thematic version of No Thanks?
Yes, the bidding aspect is based off of No Thanks
Seems fun! I think I'm gonna back this one!
Great explaining, subscribed

I really like monique's voice
Good day. Thanks for the tutorial. I will definitely back this. I was wondering why the video is currently unlisted?

Look like that would be fun.
no thanks with fire! yes!!!!!!!!!!!!
Using the BGG Complexity Rating as a reference, what complexity score would you give this game ?
So how does the game hold up at 2P?

Curious… Do you guys ever do giveaways? Maybe you have in the past and I missed it…
