@@Emberson-9000 except the tomislav is a viable sidegrade to the stock minigun, you are basically handicapping yourself at close range (where you should be as scout by the way) just for slightly higher mid range damage and taking more knockback i wish they added the healing bonus back, i really don’t understand why it needed to be nerfed in the first place
The funniest part is that random crits in pubs with the Shortstop have the same effect. The game considers the Shortstop a "streaming" weapon, meaning that it crits in the same way the Pistol crits; it gives you an extended period of time where *all* of your shots will crit instead of a singular crit shot. And since the Shortstop does 144 damage maximum per crit, you could do over 566 damage from one random "streaming" crit if you land your entire clip on enemies up close.

Yes it really feels something new when you play with shortstop. Not only the mag reloads at once, it has a greater accuracy but overall it does less damage So this is a mid range weopen unlike scattergun that forces you to play close range and get the advantage of damage ramp up

I don’t see why people under estimate it. It’s a 4 Clip Shotgun with 4 Fast Shots and reloads all its shots at once. Just as a practical Offensive Gun, it’s pretty damn good.
If the shortstop would be reworked or buffed if say you could use your secondary at the same time! Only on pistols you could only reload one weapon at a time. Animation would be screwed but it's a cool concept!
The amount of pure SALT that Scout can harvest from using Shortshop and Back Scatter is enough for Scout to buy his own private island AND get two chicks at once without paying $ for it.
my problem with the shortstop is that it would work better as a secondary than a primary it’s like using fat scout except you are using a bb gun instead of a shotgun and you take more knockback the only way this works is if you have crits/minicrits 24/7
The good thing about Shortstop that it has fixed spread, no random bullet spread, so if ur god at aim and you know when all hits will connect then you will be very good with this weapon.
The big problem with competitive modes in general is everyone taking the wrong lessons from having to play at a higher level and becoming salty bastards throughout the games they play because its 'fashionable' - because everyone else does it and its easy, so why not me too, they think. Its what ruined Overwatch when they begun pushing Comp hard and the toxic comp mindset leaked into casual without the skill or discipline, so you have mediocre players who'll stay mediocre because they're salty and can't admit fault in themselves. Keep clowning on the competitive mindset, especially the meta-oriented mindset - you're doing great!

Pretty much a good gun.
If you like a fast reload burst weapon

Not true, the first shell will fire at least one pellet straight down the crosshair before "bullet spread" takes effect.
