Richard, you are absolutely right. There are people who have spirits/demons that influence them. I had a demon attached to the outside of me causing me to desire and lust after women. I had the Holy spirit with me but I also had a spirit on me. The lord took it from me and freed me from my Lust.
I’ve been a Christian for a while and I always told that a Christian couldn’t have demons but everything changed when I was prayed over for deliverance and I was freed from evil spirits in me. Then the lord put it in my heart to deliver a brother from church, me and the bro that prayed for my deliverance set it all up to get together and deliver my brother, this would be my first deliverance and the demon inside my church brother manifested and talked to us declaring that the body belonged to him, we found out that it was the spirit of fear in him. Called him out and ordered the spirit to leave in Jesus name , after a while finally the demon and other demons came out with him. This is such an eye opener for me and this is serious, it’s a matter of life and death. I learned three things from this experience. 1. A Christian can have demons and WE all need deliverance. 2. The mighty power of Jesus name over the enemy. 3. WE have given the authority to cast them out in Jesus Name
Sweet and bitter can't come from the same fountain. The enemy can try to oppress and depress. But that's why it's important for us to have on the whole armor of God. And above all, taking the shield of faith, where we may Quincht all the Fiery darts of the wicked.

There is a distinct difference between being possessed by a demon and being oppressed or influenced by a demon. Demon possession involves a demon having direct/complete control over the thoughts and/or actions of a person (Matthew 17:14-18; Luke 4:33-35; 8:27-33). Demon oppression or influence involves a demon or demons attacking a person spiritually and/or encouraging him/her into sinful behavior. Notice that in all the New Testament passages dealing with spiritual warfare, there are no instructions to cast a demon out of a believer (Ephesians 6:10-18). Oh yes they can because not everyone is filled entirely. I had the holy spirit in my calls and in my heart. He pushed out the six demons I did have BUT ONE CAME BACK . I SAW ALL THIS I am able to see the spiritual realm.
I believe this... personally every time I feel freed from sin, the desire to want to do it comes 10x worse at times. I have to fight it all the time with the help of Yahuah. Appreciate and Glorify him about being the place I am in now. A few years ago I was partying and supporting a sexual lifestyle and sin because I had my own understanding of the Bible and thought just because he loves us, I can still do whatever and support things I shouldn't. So even though that notion is gone, I still struggle with the Jezebel spirit, wrath and sloth. I personally battle with the Leviathan spirit with people around me. Spiritual Warfare is too real! Satan wants me because I can heal and have discernment. I will continue to pray and fight

I believe that if there is an area in your life that a demon can inhabit, it’s an area that has not been submitted to Christ, or has not come into agreement with the Gospel.
You cannot be possessed by a demon the same time you have to hold a spirit you can only be possessed by the spirit of God or evil it cannot flow in and out of you once you are god's no one can pluck you out of his hands, That doesn't mean you can't send because we all will send no matter if we're saved or not you don't repent one time and then that's it's an ongoing battle until the inn of repentance
I think the reconciliation here is if someone becomes a Christian and they had been possessed by a demon before they became Christian, It would make sense. The demon would remain until they experience deliverance. now if somebody is a spiritual Christian and is not possessed, I believe it is impossible for them to become possessed, but they can certainly be oppressed from the outside. New converts are most likely to be possessed. Older Christians, who have walked for some time, are most likely to be oppressed. I myself I’m still possessed, and I have demons that speak through me sometimes against my will. I will literally hold my mouth shut with my hands because they will be speaking through me. I also have horrible sexual lucid dreams sometimes. Every day and every night they attack me with sexual lust and imagery in my head. they also moan loudly in my ear and speak to me throughout the day. They tempt me. They argue with me. Spiritual warfare is very much real.

Yes! Most times, these ' exorcisms/ deliverances' of Christians are either our flesh or are not really exorcisms but confused for exorcisms! I myself watched Pastor Richard's deliverance videos, and now that I look back, it was my pure flesh! This belief causes many of our brothers and sisters to live paranoid!

From understanding is that once you are filled with the Holy Spirit no demons can enter but can attach and oppress you using sin and thoughts that are your weakness to get to others around you. You are saved by grace through faith. But sin is an issue then it's your weakness to sin. That is why you read the Bible daily to empower yourself with knowledge.

I think I have to change my mind about this. I used to think it was possible but now I don’t anymore. Because the Holy Spirit is Holy. Hé Will not dwell in a occupied body. Because that will mean that He can be the tail. Or oppressed and that can never be.
If we look at the story of king Saul. The Lord first took His Holy Spirit off him and after that the Lord send a evil spirit that frightened him.
I am a Christian and always learning and reflecting and truthfully… I know that when I sin or cussed, it’s not the Holy Spirit.
I am still searching for the right answer about this. But this one is a hard one.
The Lord is clear in His word. We can’t serve the Lord and the devil.
I think That is also the reason why the Lord Jesus warned the ones who said that it was beezebul in Him.
If a demon possess someone he will literally control that person and many times the demon is there for years and doesn’t manifest until prayer. But I don’t believe that the Holy Spirit Will also be in the body and allows to be trembled on.
It doesn’t make sense.

This is a huge debate in the body of Christ. Instead of trying to prove that your theory is correct, try proving if it’s incorrect. I’ve been studying this topic for about 2 years now and I couldn’t find in the Bible that a Christian cannot be demonized.
