There's a lot of meat on this one. Lots of games I've played as well.
hey vinny I learned a trick to make carts load better. apparently it's not actually dust on the pins that cause them to not load, but rather the fact that they're hallow plastic with a chip in them, causes it to build up static electricity, and when you blow in it, you're moving a very tiny amount of the static away. SO if you simply take a grounded wire or screw driver, and gently tap the pins (not scratching them up), boom, they just work, as long as there's not obvious visible crud in them. If that doesn't solve the problem, remember this issue happens with consoles too, so unplugging from power and doing the same to those pins, to remove static charge (DO NOT TOUCH THE CONSOLE PINS WITH BARE HANDS, OR DO WHILE PLUGGED IN) and there you go, static is discharged, everything is neutral, hook everything up, plug it in, and it just works, and then to switch games, just briefly tap all the pins on the next cart, maybe a roller or a metal bar that fits to touch all at once would speed it up. I was stunned with how effective this was, while I still had my sega genesis working (Nolonger have a TV with A/V cables or coax... HDMI only)

I was building a model kit while I watched this, and when Vinny went "SEEEEEEEE!" around 34 minutes in, I laughed so hard I almost sliced my own thumb open with an exacto blade.

I like how the manual specifically tells Binny not to corrupt his childhood Pokemon cart with Mew on it but he does it anyway.

It wasn't on during stream. The encoding of the upload of the stream most likely didn't read it. (That's why there is only a very small buzz)

Any of the GB Mega Man except I or II would be better, because they're actually made surprisingly competently.

Gameboy Camera apparently started as a hobby project of Hip Tanaka's (Earthbound's and Metroid's composer) and then later got developed into a full product, so he was VERY heavily involved in it, both with music and software/hardware design.

Not sure what the big deal is with streaming during Rick and Morty. You can watch both after at any time. Just pick one and watch the other later. You certainly aren't missing much if you choose to watch streams on full sauce for example. The chat is just flooded with 80 people all saying LUL at the same time.

Metroid ii: Return of the Minus Worlds (An actual glitch of Metroid 2 is to repeatedly mash the select button while holding down and falling down at the same time, which can cancel out the existence of the ground tiles beneath you or something).

Biñot, an SNES is only like $70, how much less expensive can a clone system be?
biaza nahhhh, A SNES is like $120 cheap. I've looked into it before. For $70 it's gonna have some flaws. And the Retron 5 is a good clone system that can play NES, SNES, Genesis, Famicom, Super Famicom, and Gameboy games, and it runs for about $125 I think? It's a great system, and it can do a lot more than if you were just to buy a snes, besides the nostalgia factor.
Jared Waller I work at a retro video game store, and we buy somebody's SNES for $30. If you bid on the right listings and be patient, you can get an SNES online for less than $80 easily.
Doesn't the Retron also deal with the frame issues that come with using newer TVs with the old consoles? Not sure about that but I feel like I heard it somewhere.
The only frame issues I've ever known about are when you play any NES lightgun game. The targets flash by so fast that the gun can't pick them up. Time for the lightbulb cheating trick...
Having also worked at a retro store, I know not to say how much we buy things at because that's not the genuine consumer transaction. 80 bucks is how one can sell an SNES, but also consider that Vinny would want it as fast as possible in time for streaming while having everything including cables and controllers (the clone console he had was amazon prime shipping)

Maybe this was told to you following this stream, but apparently the game boy camera was made back in a magical era where incandescent light bulbs were commonplace. As this is the case, it is actually highly sensitive to the wavelengths of light put off by those bulbs. Modern light bulbs, which use LED or Flouresent lighting elements, do not interact as well with some image capture devices made back then, since the light balance is different.

That pokemon part reminds me of my Pokemon Silver save I had, I found my old copy but the save corrupted somehow and then the battery died right after.
I had an overpowered starter with level 50-55 and every other pokemon I had was 10 levels under it. I was at the 8th gym. But got stuck and just left as is, Im sad that the battery died. Guess I wont ever beat that game. pretty much the only pokemon generation I wont beat cause of a battery.
