Radical Entertainment has gone on record saying that when Simpsons Hit & Run was being playtested, EVERYBODY would start by beating up Marge, including Matt Groening who found it hilarious.
I remember seeing an anecdote from someone at Radical somewhere that they were worried about how Matt was going to react to being able to kick Marge around.
But then Matt did it as basically the first thing after getting his hands on the controller and, well, found it hilarious like you said.
Matt Didn't just kick her, he spent like 20 minutes kicking her all the way to the Quick E Mart, before trying anything else in the game.

At 4:17 that shit is actually all over the USA now, when some friends and I were helping a buddy move to California back in 2019 we made it into a mini-vacation and toured the state. At Venice Beach that actually happened to one of my buddies - these fake monks walked up to him and placed a bead necklace over his head, had him sign this friendship card, and then they told him it was $20 for the beads. He told them he could only pay $5, but when he pulled out his wallet they grabbed a $20 from out of his wallet anyways and thanked him and left. My friend's a bit of a pushover so he didn't fight back at all, and this all happened when he separated from us while we were in line at a food stand or some shit like that. I think they look for people like him who they know will fold under that kind of pressure, usually scammers can figure out who would make a good mark based on their appearance and body language. Even I was a bit guilty of preying on customers I thought I could upsell when I worked at this boutique shop in college, I got hourly and commison on top of it. After a while you learn what a very insecure and weak-willed and/or impulsive person looks like and how you can push them to buy more. I felt like shit doing it so I quit that job after less than two months even though I was very good at it.
I get that people gotta eat, but it takes some scum in the blood to do that sort of shit to people for a living.

Back in the 1980's during the eco-terrorist wars, companies were getting shut down left and right when their illegally dumping of toxic waste became known. Sometimes even CEO's had mysterious falls down the stairs. Logging companies would find entire mining camps and machinery ruined.

While IQ is a useful measurement, in reality it's an aggregate of several intertwined factors such as memory, knowledge, and deduction. Knowledge for example matters greatly for vocabulary tests, and it can obviously be easily improved. Deduction on the other hand is hard to improve, but in practice all deduction tasks can be greatly assisted by knowledge through pattern-recognition, and there is a difference. Memory is also a major factor, both long-term for your ability to hold on to knowledge, as well as short term as it helps you memorize the current task.
I know that for example I have a poor memory but strong deduction, which in IQ tests means that it usually takes me a long time to memorize and wrap my head around puzzles, but given enough time I can almost always solve it.
There are also other factors that aren't measured accurately by IQ-tests that matter greatly for things like school and career success, such as motivation, discipline, and personality.
