I also believe that X is the 10th installment, the big question to me is if Saga retroactively counting as installments and if we are 7 or 4 games away from reaching Xenoblade X

@@ChadVigilante Y, you do realize both those games are not made by like, actual Nintendo but studios that work for them... right? Like if you want to get worked up over fire emblem, you need to look at intelligence systems, not Monolith soft. Go rant about it on some Wario ware or Paper Mario video.
Also as for your opinions on Engage I say this as a massive Fire emblem fan, be better than this, play some older titles not just the new ones, you know you haven't, don't lie to us honey, we can tell, learn that all Fire emblem era's bring something to the table and that Engage is a love letter to the whole series. It wasn't going to be Three houses 2, that's not what the series is. I hope you expand your tastes in games and grow as a person.

I would love to see Xenoblade X on the next Nintendo hardware. I wouldn't be opposed to an added epilogue, as long as we're guaranteed to have a direct sequel or two. There are too many plot points that need to be resolved.

tears came to my exes when i saw Xenoblade X Gameplay, this whole series got me more invested than almost anything else
I have been saying for the longest time that Xenoblade X would have to be remade from the ground up because of all the WiiU features.
However i also think the plot in X (and cut content from the original vision) is another reason to remake it from the ground up.
Xenoblade X is one of my favourite games, i would love to get back into my mechs again especially with a plot that makes more sense.
By just adding 1 new continents and a few more chapters it could add so much to this already massive game. I would be hype af

Guys, the Ouroboros form that Matthew and company transform into at the end of FR is internally named Ares in the file structure, and has assets directly ported from the unnamed heroes Ares mech from X.

I think the next game will be both xenoblade 4 and xenosaga 4. I was quite confused trying to figure out what it should be called of the two of these, and then I realised: xenoblade saga. They ditch the chronicles subtitle and the new subtitle is xenoblade SAGA. So this new game will be xenoblade saga, which is technically both saga 4 and blade 4
That's the option most that people want to see. The groundwork is definitely there but I still think we need Xenosaga re-releases before that happens.
Xenoblade doesn’t have the “Chronicles” in the original Japanese, that was just a localization thing Nintendo of Europe added for some reason. I guess that proooobably wouldn’t matter if they just call it “Xenoblade Saga”, but it’s worthy to note bc of marketing stuff

I still think that no matter what they do they need to make 4 a standalone game. You can have all the connections to the other games like 3 but make sure it’s good for new audiences. I think that one of the reasons the series has been so successful is because you can pick up any of the games. Idk, I don’t think most people will want to play 6 plus games.

Personally, I’m more likely to believe that the shoutouts to XenoSaga and Xenoblade X were more like Easter eggs, or rather, the same creators using the same concepts but in different ways. You know how Optimus Prime is in every Transformers media, but G1 Optimus isn’t the same as Movie or Animated Optimus? Sorta like that.
I didn't see it mentioned but I remember the producer saying that they wanted to do a sequel for X after 3, back in the Xenoblade 2 OST interview (translated in xenomira wordpress). I wonder if getting the Xenosaga license was always the plan or if getting it has shifted their priorities.
Either way very excited for what is next, I do hope we get both Saga and X on modern consoles though. (Switch 2 or w/e for X preferably)

Nintendo doesn't own the rights to xenosaga, that's still owned by namco, they got permission to use xenosaga stuff by namco, similar to how they got permission to include kosmos and telos in xenoblade 2, if xenosaga ever gets remade or used in the future of xenoblade it's up to namco and nintendo's collaboration, however, as this is the second game in a row to have this collaboration I'd say that, if this is the path they want to take, it is a very likely one to happen
Also, tales of rays is property of namco as well, so a collaboration between those two ips isn't that mind blowing, it's basically namco collaborating with namco

I feel like xenoblade x lore wise should be its own thing. Maybe the samarians could be some of the humans flung into a different universe by Klaus' experiment but ideally that's where I would want connections to the other games to end. X deserves a sequel and deserves its own universe and lore. I really hope we get some sort of X sequel before Xenoblade 4.

I'm really happy you talked about how both Saga and X could happen. What really announced me about the immediate discussion after the radio happened was how people were so confident about Saga being connected but so dismissive of X being connected. Both require retcons in order to make sense and while one would need more retcons to work, we exist in a time where we genuinely have zero clue whats going to happen. Everyone is approaching the subject in a purely binary matter when I feel like theres so little available to us to make any definitive claims. Its not like after XC2 came out when people thought the savoritte rebellion was the same thing as the war at the beginning of X where they were literally just wrong in how they understood the event being presented. Literally everything right now is just theories and every theory is going to require retcons. I don't think we can say definitively one way or the other whether we're going to combine with Saga, X, both, or even neither.

It's Possibly To The Next Year 2025 has Celebrating 15th Anniversary Series With Event Annoucing For New 3 Titles Xenoblade Chronicles Games As Mobile Game And Only The Next Nintendo Console System(I mean Switch 2 Actually..) but This It's my Possibly Opinion
There’s seems to be a Xenoblade game every 3-4 years. That would put the next one at 2025-2026. I’m hoping the stopgap between that is the Xenosaga collection remaster, then a brand new xeno* series that ties everything before it together

Really debating firing up my WiiU to play Xenoblade X. Bought that big collector's edition and never got around to playing it. Wondering if I should hold off for a remake or just go ahead and play before my WiiU dies (heard a lot of them are having problems).

I know its the longest of long shots but i really want there to be a xenogears remake, ive heard it has one of the best stories ever written and i would love to experience it without using a clunky emulator that barely works. Please square enix, you arent even using that ip just give it back already.😢

I would be very surprised and so happy if Bandai Namco continues Xenosaga in a different way!, I was not expecting them to do anything more with Xenosaga after three. Despite I am trying my very best to do so as a filmmaker!, Yes I am working super hard on the last episode of Xenosaga in live action movie series titled Xenosaga V!. Xenosaga V: The center of tragedy is its name!. Xenosaga V will have two releases 2025 and 2027!. Be in two parts too!. Plus I will have the famous Vic Mignogna voicing one of the villains in the coming Xenosaga V!.

I'm going to say Xenoblade Chronicles 4 is a terrible name. We need to welcome more new comers and now with the Klaus saga complete it it the perfect time for a change.
I'm going to stick with my guns (I've commented this on Enel and Luxin videos as well) and say we ditch the chronicles part and replace it.
Xenoblade Legends, Xenoblade Sagas, Xenoblade gears, or something of the sorts.
This will give new players a nice entry point and the director the chance to make the changes and surprises he wants to make.

No it makes perfect sense. During Xenosaga the the earth is lost. Now we know its been split into 2 dimensions. Yes for the time frames to work the time has to flow differently in these pocket dimensions but that's hardly a difficult thing to believe.
