Just wanted to say that the Wilderness palette really filled in the FOMO I had from missing out on the Muerte palette. The quality is wonderful and I love the color story.
@@angiec.874 They never restock these releases, for some reason. They didn't restock the Book of Magic and the, uh... The reddish one? I can't remember what it was called. Anddddd they've said they won't restock it, so... 🤷🏻♀️ If they don't want their customers to be able to wait for reviews before purchasing, then I don't want to give them my money, anyway.

I guessed the eyes right just because the right one seemed more "monochromatic" like the shades were carefully selected to be within the same hue, but I too preferred the Wilderness side, be it because it's more contrast, better formulation or just newer, it just pops out more and I hope they do bring it back, there's many people who missed out

I recently treated myself to the Vida palette and I love it so much but now I’m even sadder that I don’t have muerte lol 💀 Tbh Melt would make SO MUCH money if they could bring it back. Loved this video! I’m passing on the beauty bay but I love watching the looks with it!
That's what I don't get. That palette is being sold for hundreds--don't they want a piece of that? Afaik it's not a collab so not sure why it was time limited

I matched the correct pallet to eye simply because the Wilderness one is more vibrant. I’m so glad Beauty Bay restocked it because I would’ve missed a gem.
I guessed right, the shimmer gave it away. Melt shimmers just don't ~pop~ the way other shimmers do. For a $15 palette, it looks really nice. I love the shades they chose :D
Hello. 😄 IMO it was missed opportunity for Melt. Wilderness palette filled the void left behind by Vida and Muerte. And they just… Nope not happening. (They still sell Vida but IMO Muerte is the star of the show). But I don’t think anyone would have complained if they brought it back as limited edition again. (I know… I know pigments might be not available. But still.) or if they recycled the theme. My 2 cents. Byee. 😅
I ordered vida the second it was re released and I've used it once to make a green eyeliner. It's the only melt product I've ever tried too. I think I should have purchased a different palette.

I knew it! the more intense shimmer on the left eye and the brighter green on the lower lash line of the right eye give it away ;) I loved the color stories of the melt collection but I was not going to pay so much for them.. and I would totally have picked up the bb palette but I honestly feel like I can dupe it pretty easily with my singles and I'm trying not to buy new makeup right now. I had a chance to purchase the muerte palette, it was in store and I had a gift card, I definitely regret it. At the time I wasn't into deep shades but now I appreciate them. The packaging though has always looked so cool.
I wonder if I could mix the reds in the wilderness with the blue in there or any black in my collection to really get it closer to the ones in Maurte. Awesome comparisons!
I really liked the looks of this palette minus the blue row, but i didnt like the texture of the shimmers especially with my book of magic, they dried out so fast. But maybe i will do a custom palette inspired by this. Thank you for the comparisons!
I have also had the shimmers crease really bad after wearing for a while. I think if you’re only going to wear for like 5 hours or less then they are ok, I’m still experimenting 😆 makeup looks great when first applied though.
Interesting you guys say creasing in the Beauty Bay book of Magic....I think I purchased it this February right before they discontinued it....yeah the shimmers still feel spongey not as spongey but still lol.... ironically I have SUPER HOODED EYES and their formula is one of the ones that doesn't crease on me lol, I also have their New Romantic palette and they even stay put in this humid FLORIDA weather and that's with me working outside so I don't know. 😭🤣😂

More potential dupes for vida and muerte are in the bperfect carnival pro 2 (Muerte) and love Tahiti (vida). I have muerte and carnival 2 and I swatches them and it’s very close
I keep debating on whether to sell my Muerte palette since I just never use it and to me the shimmers are just too meh. I prefer the ultra shiny shimmers from my indies.
I think the left eye is the Wilderness palette. if I am not wrong the Melt palettes doesn't have a turqouise shade like the one you used in your inner corner :D edit: the Wilderness palette is on your right eye. the shade in the inner corner on your bottom lash line looks like "leaf" from it... hope this guess is correct

Again, a super, well-rounded comparison video. I never was too interested in those particular Melt palettes (luckily), but jumped all over the BB one as soon as it launched -- which I'm EXTREMELY happy about. It rocks. Ehmm, sorry to point it out though, but you missed the mint shade? Is there anything in the Melt ones that could compare?

10 months later I’m here too, to see more swatches and it compared to the wilderness palette. I bought the muerte last week as soon as it launched. I also have the vida and wilderness, so I own all 3 now. I’m so excited for muerte 💀 to arrive. It’s shipped.

Tbh Melt’s formula is pretty inconsistent. My favorite palettes from them are Gemini & Smoke Sessions. The rest that of my Melt palettes don’t come close to that formula. The inconsistencies make me not want to spend money on their palettes anymore when other brands can do the same color story for less and better quality.
I'm still trying to find a dupe for Smoke Sessions those teal shimmery blues ugh lol. I have yet to try Melt due to inconsistencies ... for the Gemini palette what helped was was Kaleidos Sci Fi Greens
It's rather dirty of BB to make this palette LE and not tell people about it beforehand. Meanwhile the Sunset horizon that no one cares about is still stocked on the site and it released last year.
I really hope the wilderness palette gets restocked! I missed the Melt palettes due to price so when I saw wilderness I wanted it but it sold out!

I heard some content creators telling that the ingredients used for the Muerte Palette aren't able to be sourced by Melt anymore.

Could you update on the longevity of the BB shimmers? I've heard they crease quite badly, particularly on oily lids.
