Switzerland is so beautifull. We have like before written not only very famous mountains. We have a lot of lakes. And the little lakes when you walk to top of mountain they are specially wonderfull. And this fresh water coming from inside the mountain is so refreshing when you sweat from a very long walk. And what we have also is a lot of trees. Also in the town i was living before is so much green that air is totally clear.

And also on the mountains you find wonderfull flowers which some of them you find most time on dangerous places but very beautifull.

I see your point....but I'd bet you that if you showed pictures of Everest, Fuji and K2, 99.99999% of those could not name one of them. Then show the Matterhorn ( as viewed from Zermatt) to the same people and 50% could tell you the name of the mountain. So I think I'd agree it is the most famous.

I know LOTS of people who would not know Mt Fuji if shown pictures. I think that even though the Matterhorn is not the mountain portrayed on Toblerone bars, most people think it is.
