This will "fix" Crusader Kings in my mind. I play the game to tell an interesting story. I love following the escapades of my various dynasty members, sure, but it's all ultimately very 2d to me because of the game's limitations. Essentially, I do want to lose, yes. I no longer feel so boxed in; often I'd find myself looking at my children and realizing I didn't even know their names, I was just focusing on painting the map. Which, sure, can be fun and you can still do, but now I'm not so worried about it. So what if I do lose my Kingdom, my duchy, my county? Now, I can take it back. Or I can find a new home, far far away. And those stories are so, so very interesting to me.

All the trailers tell one story about two houses, roads to power is byzantine/roman focused so their appearence is small, but they still are here. In short, the fox house and the bear house have an feud, when the bear lord assasinated an fox baby, followed by the fox lord dying while fighting them (release). His wife, married the heir to an bear girl to stop the attacks, but when the (royal court) marriage happened, she murdered most of the bears, leaving only the girl alive. Then this girl plotted with an white knight and now with the byzantine noble (roads to power) to take revenge, killing most of the fox house on the road (tours and tournaments). Pdx actually made them playable characters on the game, on the earsten hre close to poland, as counts. Wow that was an lot of foxes and bears

Well it was likely mercy for being his brother that got him just to lose one eye then either losing both or worse.
