I have OM since 2015... stage IV since March 2018. Radiation made me lose my sight, get cataract and glaucoma. I have pain in the eye and headaches, and now planning on enucleation... it's not smooth and calm as the video shows. It's a crazy rollercoaster, full of fears, anxiety, and tears.

I had this procedure done on August 27, 2020. I chose to be totally put under because they wanted to get a sample of the melanoma,. They were successful with retrieving a sample. Afterwards I only had slight discomfort and no pain. I never took any medication for pain. Because of the location of the melanoma it caused the Retina to be detached. So far 5 weeks later I have slightly blurred vision in the affected eye but overall the vision is good. I have good peripheral vision. Some issue with depth of field but otherwise time alone will tell.
