- What’s it like going to one of Canada’s oldest sporting events? This weekend I travelled out to the West Coast to experience the 111th Grey Cup, and you’ll never believe what Destination Vancouver had in store, as soon as you got off the plane you could feel the excitement in the city!
This is my best friend Tye and today I’m flying across the country to surprise him with tickets to watch his favourite childhood team play in the championship! See when we met in university we bonded over our love for sport, Tye was actually a big reason as to why I got a job working on the football team, and I think after nearly ten years it’s about time I repaid him.
When Destination Vancouver reached out and asked me if I wanted to go to the Grey Cup my first question to them was can I take a friend? So, a special thank you to them for making this video possible because without them saying yes I would have never been able to afford to do this!

@grousemountain - ride the gondola to the top of Grouse Mountain, where breathtaking views of the city and coastline await. Once at the top, make sure to say hello to Grinder and Coola two rescued grizzly bears!
Drinks at @meochinatown , dinner at @elgato_gabgab - two must stop places for your pre or post-game food and drinks needs

As somebody who couldn't be totally sure what sport the Grey Cup is contested in, I find this video is so great. I am super happy for you, your best bud, for the sponsors too.
