As an Italian who just recently got into hockey and the NHL, I had no idea about this team! I might go see a game, it's not too far away from my place. Thank you, nice video
Really like this format where you show the region/area around the arena before & after the game (food, culture, etc...). I feel like some of your recent videos went away from this so glad to see it back. That said have to go with what gets you the views.
I appreciate the feedback, honestly it's never really about what brings in views, obviously it helps but It's more so a combination of time, where the team is located, and budget! Having Gianni with me made it a little easier to explore town, plus having a rental car. Also, Asiago is such a beautiful place, and it helped to have around 4 hours before puck drop. For example the Stockholm Derby I flew in day of and caught up on sleep right before puck drop and was gone again right after the game. It's not ideal but it's just the reality with my current work schedule, trying to get it, to a place where we can film in places with more time to explore each time though! Hope that gives you some added context! Always appreciate your support and thoughts, thank you!
So, so jealous. My wife and I honeymooned in Como and Tuscany. Italy is an amazing place. Hopefully you’ll get to go someday long enough to not just be a tourist but really jump into the environment. That was our favourite part. We saw a game in Varese, was incredible. Sadly the soccer was on international break. But Northern Italy seems to have a genuine interest in hockey. Cheers for more great content. If I could do it all over again, I’d have worked harder for a d3 scholarship and then tried to play in those lower Italian and Balkan leagues and just travel.
What an awesome story, thanks for sharing! Indeed, if I knew how awesome it would be to play overseas maybe I would have tried a little harder to be a better goalie 😂
Hello, I just had the opportunity to play a hockey tournament in the ski town of Fernie, BC, Canada and I watched one of the JrA Ghostriders games. The atmosphere is INSANE and the game was the grittiest game of hockey I’ve ever seen[lots of fight]. The town is beautiful in the Canadian Rockies, and would make an amazing video🎉
You've got to come back to France to Angers where Asiago's Goalie Evan Cowley and #18 Nick Moutrey used to play. The rink is always sold out, even on weekdays and the atmosphere is crazy. We've got amazing food and some of France best wines, and most importantly, we've got the amazing Braeden Shaw, the original Brady Brady from the kids hockey books !
My team play in this league as well and absolutely love this league! Asiago is a nice team, they score a lot of goals, but they get scored on too much. If they had better defense they could be in the playoffs easily. 2 of their players are leading the wole league in points, so they already have that going for them.
Oh dude driving in Italy with those F'in booths on and off the motorway, and if you miss an exit you have to drive another 50km before the next exit... still love Italy, especially up north man lovely place.
Amazing time
Thanks for joining me brother!
Thank you Robert and Gianni for the visit! It was a pleasure to have you with us!
Thank you so much for the hospitality!
