He looked like a deadman learned to walk. That's why when he enter a small town screams of ZOMBIE and mass panic could be heard. ;)

While that quiet voice gets louder for some people, for others it stays too quiet to hear. But the guy's best bet would have been to stay with the plane and if the fire had gone out, make a new, large and smoky as possible fire to signal for help.

Good story. Off on animal behaviour, and the aircraft in a modern situation would have been detected as a crash (flight plan - missing arrival, emergency locator transmitter, radar and transponder info) and responded to, but still a good story. Human survival instinct.
I wonder how many would just succumb to the cold and apparent hopelessness of the situation.

Funny story, considering that there are a) almost no wolves left in Poland, and b) going 12 miles into any direction would get you to some kind of settlement in Poland, except for national parks. Would be better placed somewhere in the US...

You know how some stories are made into animation or live action. This story is one I want to see in action.

Here is a like and comment for the story, for entertaining me, to help your channel grow, to appease the great and powerful TH-cam algorithm demon, and get you the recognition you deserve.

There's just so much wrong here. Instead of cataloguing the numerous errors, I'll just state this: if you survive a plane crash, *stay with the plane.* It's the first place rescuers will look for you, and a plane wreck, no matter how small, is _way_ easier to spot than a single person wandering alone. Also, someone absolutely _will_ come looking for you. With a town that close, they would have seen the smoke from the burning wreck, and someone would been out there in a few of hours just to investigate the fire even if they didn't know it was a plane crash.

Oh, this is a story of fiction. For reference, please look up "October 1972, a Uruguayan Air Force plane, Flight 571" and you can see what could happen in reality. Yes. it's a stretch in modern times because of ELTs or CPI's with modern flight plans and flight tracking, but suspend that thinking for the fictional story. It's a thing that has happened in the past and really could happen now.

@@dont.beknown5622 it could happen, but not in Poland.. main character would get to nearest town/village in matter of hours not days, even if he crashed in eastern parts. And no way those only recently restored lazy and affraid of their own shadow wolf packs would try their luck with a human

Don't mean to pile on, but gasoline evaporates

While gasoline does evaporate, enough stays present to where something like a hoodie would more easily catch fire. Unless he had taken it off and "washed" it in the river, which would have been a good idea as breathing in the fumes over time would not have been good for him.

Good story except the wolves. Wolves don't behave that way. Especially the one wolf. Wolves don't throw out injured pack members, they care for them. Wish the author had put in a more realistic foe, like an angry elk, or a bear.

It's fiction. just a fictional story. Run with it.

They also don't weigh 200 lbs. People seem to think the average wolf is 5 ft tall at the withers. Wolves are not much bigger than dogs - unless you think of chihuahuas and kelpies when I say dogs. Even the largest breeds of wolves that you find in far northern regions weigh much less than that. For example, the Mackenzie Valley Wolf in North America, which is a behemoth of a wolf, weighs 130-150 lbs (that's 59 to 68 kg) and even if weighed after gorging himself on a recent meal tend to max out around 170lbs. If you find a 200 lb wolf anywhere, then congratulations on finding a new sub-species of wolf or a dangerously obese pet that's been fed to bursting by some random farmer that thought the wolf was a big husky.
If you ended up squaring up against a random wild wolf in Europe, it's likely a Eurasian wolf, which is 70-130 lbs. It is quite literally half the size the author described.
