I love how June's voice goes up in pitch when she asks Esther if he's one of them, a thing that adults frequently do when they talk to children. Esther may wear the garb of a wife, but June knows that ultimately she's just a little girl who has been abused.
Most powerful quote ever! They assumed they were just breaking them, taking away their identities. It never occurred to them that they'd use those same uniforms to stop being victims and start being warriors.
The handmaid’s are used to participating in executions, so their beating of the guard is nothing new to them. Remember the man they beat and kicked to death standing in a circle in the very first episode of season 1.

When Eden was running around in that Von Trapp ballerina dress, I was horrified that they were treating her like a grown woman but still putting her in little girl's clothes. Now they're putting a little girl in grown woman's clothes cut for a little girl's body.

I still don't like the thought of having 14-year-old kill someone, moreover this way... Or even seeing it... Still, it probably helped her feel better after what he did to her, and June got to know for sure that Esther is able to help Mayday even if when it comes to nasty stuff...

In the book the Handmaids kill the man was apparently part of Mayday, so they kill him, well Emily deals the first blow to kill him.

That moment when June realized she couldn't stop. When she had to turn away and accept that as long as she was alive she had to fight.

what episode did eden wear that ballerina dress?
A lot of the commanders are p*dos. Margaret Atwood has alluded to this in the novel especially the recent sequel “The Testaments”
Eden was what the book would deem an "econowife". She wasn't a Wife in the same sense at Mrs. Keyes.
