Thank you. I don't know anything about silver so will be doing lots of research. Do you have any advice on how much I should spend on my first job lots?
Thanks, i have being buying small amounts to build up some stock,. Now i have also managed to get my hands on 700 grs of silver all wearable and high end, a few tiffany i believe. I will probably start from personal ebay account, analyze the situation and perhaps open an eBay shop.
Thanks for the video Portfolio boss, I'm currently trying to get into the buying and selling of Jewelry and really enjoyed this. Would it be okay if I asked your advice on something. I have found online auctions In the US where auctioned Jewelry goes for its market value. On the auction site the auctioneer gives a retail value estimate of what you could possibly sell it for. The retail estimate is always much higher than the market value price that the pieces sell for in the auction. In your experience, would it be worth while to purchase a piece to then sell it on an online store like etsy for the retail price they quote in the auctions ? or is this just an auction house marketing trick to get you to bid and buy. I've set a rule of no more than 10% of the auction house retail price estimate. To see if there's any scope for profit. Grateful for any feedback you'd have on this.
