    Wish I had seen this earlier. I bought a Vance & Hines intake, paid way more than that and only later realized I have to pay even more to get a cover for it. Yours looks great.
    And for anyone watching & reading comments, YES the old breadbox kept hitting my knee. And the difference in airflow is astounding. You can hear the air being pulled in my new intake. Along with new pipes & a tuner my bike feels like it pulls 10hp stronger.

      For sure, I had to change my filter, bike is running awesome no issues.

    Do you need to get a tune for this modification?

      I did not; also, what I have noticed is more power at the top end.

    It’s must change a filter with service or just clean it up ?

    Awsom video. I changed out my air filter also and exhaust on my Bolt and had my ECU tuned by ivans performance. The tune is a must have if you havnt yet. were did you get the fork gators? i like that style. most are to big and look too compressed. can you sen me the link? Thanks

    Love up the look of the new filter! Do you think you will need to tune the bike because of the increased airflow?

    • @weron021
      @weron021  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I am not sure if I have to do that, this bike is fuel injection and also is equped with oxegon sensor that tells the computer how much fuel is needed.

      @@admendoza8537 I just spent reserching this object and there is no requirement to have the computer flashed or adjusted, Yamaha bolt for a factory runs lean and this will make it run perfect. No other adjustments are needed. The oxygen sensor does all of the work for you. Thank you.

      @@dmenaced This bike is fuel injection and also is equped with oxegon sensor that tells the computer how much fuel and oxygen it needs, no need to tuneup the bike, also all Yamaha bolts from the factory are set to be lean and once you change the exaust and air filter it correct it self. I am going to ride like that for a bit and see if there is any major issues.

    Hey, I just installed this same intake. I have only ever had the stock intake, so im just curious. Is there supposed to be a loud hissing sound? I assume it's just the air being drawn in? I took it off and put it back on, and it's aligned and tight.

    • @weron021
      @weron021  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not sure, I have not tested my bike out yet , we still have a bit of snow on the ground, but did you notice a performance change on your bike? Also once I get my bike up and running I will let you know.

    • @rizkybiss
      @rizkybiss 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The loud hissing is from more air being sucked in. Thats a good thing. The Bolt original is too restrictive. Mine does the same with a different intake.

    • @gba8250
      @gba8250 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @weron021 I'm sure there's a bit of a difference, but the snow just melted where I am as well, so yesterday was my first ride since last summer. Nothing to noticeable to me. I say it's much better looking, though!

    Hey, great video. I ordered the exact one, but two things in this video are unclear to me:
    4:15 why use other bolts? Is there something wrong with the supplied ones?
    6:50 did you spray it with oil? Is that mandatory?
