Ah my first competition grade buggy! It was a clear match for any Yokomo or Schumacher way back in 89! I think it can still compete with the more modern cars with a few upgrades and fine tuning. Bigger wheels and wider tires etc. I think your car needs a little tuning on the shocks, tires, wheels and loosening up the clutch a bit...and yes a gun type transmitter would help a lot. This made me take out my old Lazer ZX for a cleaning. I'll probably post a video soon of an overhaul and mods I made way back when I was still rc racing. Champion car!!!
The first Lazer ZX (1989 version) may not be as fast as the modern models, but it looks the best though~! My favourite buggy!

Beautiful car. Maybe ditch the stick style controller? I feel like if you had better control this car would be far more competitive.
yes the driver was only his 1st or 2nd go here so not experienced at racing. needed a lot more practice.
