I always loved the comradery of SKywarp and Thundercracker displayed in the G1 Cartoon... They always seemed to be having a good time. When IDW wrote for them in the beginning, Skywarp had a lot of fun acing targets with blitzwing... But Screamer will always be the king. Any Con with enough nerve to continue to challenge Megatron, has got to be the man. Even in later episodes of G1, Starscream was shown to be smarter than Megatron, when Megatron's lust for power became too great. Also in Dreamwave's comics Both Thundercracker and Skywarp, seemed to be more on the same page, and believed that Starcream seemed to "enjoy the pain" inflicted by Megatron "too much"...
Yeah for the most part both TC and SW were depicted as chill and evil bots behind the more polarizing Starscream. Which is why I'm happy the IDW comics gave them each interesting and cool story arcs. 👍
"Siquijor" lol. Your pun game is still on point. It's fascinating to see the different toys of Skywarp throughout the years like any other Transformers character. The intro felt too real because the prices for WFC trilogy online are really high so it's a clear pass for me in getting Skywarp. I have better luck getting the re-release of Dirge in the legacy line.

Everyone has seen TF:TM aka TransFormers: The Movie and we all saw that Bombshell became Cyclonus. The only Decepticon alive and able to drink Energon was Megatron. The others Thundercracker, Kickback etc were all spark-less, empty husks, which Unicron used to create new Troops for Galvatron. Which means that Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps has no memories of their former existence, because they're brand new Decepticons at that time.
IMHO everything is open to interpretation. But I do believe the writer of the movie did confirm that Skywarp was Cyclonus. Either way, skywarp, Bombshell both dead. Long live Cyclonus 👍

That's why Soundwave and even Thundercracker out ranked him. Cyclonus is nothing like either one of them and is Second-in-Command, until the Deathsauras era.
@Anekix from an intellectual level I think Bombshell has a better case to be cyclonus. He was just vastly superior to Skywarp in that department. But from a stylistic level, jet becomes a jet makes more sense. So yeah it is what it is 👍 like you said Cyclonus is a completely brand new character period.

You can find those types of groups with a "collector" or collecting" under their name, The only advantage there is seeing some of what other people are selling, but when you post a review about the show or the comic book you've read don't even care to be bothered with it. It's not even a group like that but mostly those two things I mentioned. I'd rather be in a "Fan" group that discusses all aspects of that interest and not just those two things,.

That aside, seeing as loyalty and allegiances are a big thing with the seeker trio, I think a story/series that sees him and his allegiance to Megatron, the Decepticon regime, amd the rest of the seekers, be tested and either broken or affirmed would be interesting. Like, imagine the loyal, cruel, loud mouth thug from g1 having to face an autobot Megatron situation, how would he handle that?

At the very least it gave him a distinct character arc apart from his fellow seekers. I think you're onto something though too with your idea. Which is why I loved how he immediately got into Thundercrackers face and blasted him after the later broke ranks and saved the autobots. That was a pure gut reaction from SW!

i believe that Skywarp became Cyclonus and also all three insecticons where seen in season 3 .there is also a fan theory that Skywarp and Bombshell merged to become Cyclonus .also what i just now thought of is the Decepticons looked down on the Insecticons they never looked down on Cyclonus if some how they found out he was Bombshell i think the other Decepticons would have looked down on him. my favorite Seeker was Thundercracker then Skywarp , Remjet , Dirge, Trust , Starscream that was season 1 and 2 then Scourge and Cyclonus after Thundercracker

Of the originals, Skywarp was my favorite. Prince was a big deal in my house. So I'm pretty sure it was because of his sweet black & purple deco. 🤣🤣🤣 Once they released the conehead Seekers, I was a Thrust fan. Probably due to the lift fans in his wings
I was more of a Michael Jackson fan growing up only later as an adult that I learned to appreciate Prince but I've always loved the color purple! If TC wasn't my first TF toy I most likely would have gravitated to SW solely based on his color scheme 😅 Of the coneheads Thrust was also my initial favorite because visually he was the most striking IMHO. Is that the FOC version? I never played the game but I thought that Cyberton mode was great for the time. I got it cuz I'm a seeker completist but I think the WFC version is way better :)

Frenzy is BLUE and rumble is RED....before any media tie in such as cartoons and comics there was the toys FIRST and in the toys Frenzy is BLUE and Rumble is RED....the mix up in their colour is an animation error,1 of MANY that has plagued tf from day 1.....and if people want to get technical Rumble in the cartoon isn't even blue,he is PURPLE.s@StoriesFromTheToyshelf

Now, if that were the case, it seems pretty likely that's the second time in a row Nova Storm was given a prominent cartoon appearance simply because skywarp was off-limits to have their gender changed from male to female.

Out of the 1st 3 seekers skywarp was my favorite and still 2nd after thrust and I'm on the camp that says he was Cyclonus

Frenzy is BLUE and rumble is RED....before any media tie in such as cartoons and comics there was the toys FIRST and in the toys Frenzy is BLUE and Rumble is RED....the mix up in their colour is an animation error,1 of MANY that has plagued tf from day 1.....and if people want to get technical Rumble in the cartoon isn't even blue,he is PURPLE.s@StoriesFromTheToyshelf

@@StoriesFromTheToyshelf but there is no debate....what i said previously is FACTUALY true.....we all know its an animation error so i really don't know why those who KNOW its an error can't or wont accept it for what it is when those same people have no problem accepting all the other animation and continuity errors for what they are.....would these same"Rumble is blue and frenzy is red" camp accept a white optimus prime if in seasons 3 and 4 prime was coloured white?.....no,they would be screaming at the tv screen saying things along the line of "that's not Prime,its Ultra Magnus without his armour".
@jaws848 yes I do accept that what you said is factually true. But what is also factually true is that while it may have started out as a mistake, they didn't correct it. And ran with it moving forward. So I believe that Firrib fans like myself also have a case to stand on. In the end though does it really matter? It's a fun debate to have between fans but definitely not something to literally fight over :) like I said agree to disagree 👍👍👍 it's all good!

@@StoriesFromTheToyshelf just cyberverse, but according to mae catt the writers wanted to include thundercracker in a female role, but were told they couldn't. Now, if that were the case, it seems pretty likely that's the second time in a row Nova Storm was given a prominent cartoon appearance simply because skywarp was off-limits to have their gender changed from male to female.

I don’t know why, but I have always seen skywarp being rivals with sideswipe, and thundercracker being rivals with sunstreaker
That's how I always saw them too....as the Lambros' rivals. With Jazz being the rival of Starscream 👍👍👍
