Yes, Katrina carried that SomewhereOTR out superbly well. These are the highs and clear-cut notes of the weekend for me. Kat's rendition of Ms. Patti's "Somewhere" is of the first order, it's exceptional and quite remarkable. This cover is quite brilliant, in fact. And her talent is impressive and unparalleled. True, I haven't heard of anyone yet who covered this song better than Kat's, just in my own persuasion. Haha! Yep, she unknowingly set a gauge and the case for hard work to the other person. Thanks again, Grant. Katrina is world class. Some of her best singing are songs done in her native tongue. What I find interesting about listening is how you listen very clearly to her voice…what she is doing with her instrument. She sang several songs with the Firdaus Orchestra, Isang Himila was one. Just amazing clarity and so precise, so emotional…Hindi Tayo Pwedi another. Latest ARAW GABI studio version: a nod to her idol, Regine. Troy Laureta arrangement will make your head explode. 😂

It's always hitting the high notes. If singing is a shouting match it's always to hit that highest notes that destroys the eardrums. The effect would be that a song becomes a nuisance rather than it could reduce stress of everyday living and soothes the heart and mind.
Dunderhead, sopranos' forte are the high notes. Listen to altos instead.
