Let's be real, he used AI to write the script, which is infamous for taking the first three such results for your desired query and then mashes them together to make a whole new opinion that is often just incorrect.
Between the constant mispronunciation of main character names and not even knowing what a god damn apple of eden is, it’s clear as day that these two have never touched an AC game their entire life and just making hastily put together videos after milking the halo franchise dry to retain viewers.
Also, love the segment where they talk about DLC for the games but don’t even mention the fact that AC 2 removed chapters 12 and 13 from the game to sell as DLC. You literally skip from chapter 11 to 14 and it left everyone confused as hell until we realized we had to buy extra content to see what happened between those 2 chapters. Or AC revelations DLC where it’s first person puzzle solving.
Like I get it, you can only make so many halo related videos, but if you’re going to branch off at least make an attempt to play the games before you make a video essay about them. This entire video is just lazily researched and I know for a fact that you guys can do better.
Also, the naval combat originated from AC3 not Black Flag, anyone who actually played the games would know this, not like you guys would actually know since it’s clear you never did.
One last additional also, responding to people with “essio” when getting called out for the mispronunciation doesn’t come off as cute that you might think it does, it just comes off as you looking like doucebags who don’t care about the quality of their videos. Overall just incredibly disappointing to see how far this channel’s quality has fallen.

i think liberation is mostly forgotten but not as much as these others, it being included in the acIII remaster probably helped bring it to relevance again.

I think it was forgotten, but it got a lot of attention recently because it was bundled with the the remaster of AC3 and every person I've seen who are playing the entire Assassin's Creed series for the first time ever would not only end up playing the remaster as their first time playing AC3, but the next game they would play after that isn't Black Flag but Liberation because it like I said, it was bundled with AC3 Remastered.

Assassin's Creed having a manga is a complete surprise to me, I never thought there was a manga of Assassin's Creed.
I was in 6th grade when those things came out and everyone was seething to get their hands on novels that were trash. But the mangas werent too bad.
There was also a Webtoon based on Black Flag that very randomly released in 2023
There's a Watch_Dogs Manga, too. I randomly saw it in Japan, I've never seen it anywhere else, though, so I wonder...
It basically expanded on Altair’s life after AC1, connor after AC3, black flag and so on.
Assassin's Creed having manga truly came as a surprise to me too, I had no idea Assassin's Creed had a manga even though I've been an Assassin's Creed fan for years and have played all the Assassin's Creed games. Assassin's Creed truly is one of the franchises.

Assassin‘s creed unity, did get a DLC and it was called dead kings and assassins. Creed origins. Also had 2 DLC packs and they were called 1. the hidden ones, and 2. the curse of the pharaohs. an Odyssey had two sets of three episodes. The first one you mentioned, which was broken up in 3 episodes so was the second one also broken up in the three episodes, and that was called the fate of Atlantis.
So ion know if I’m right or not on this, but for the ac2 film thing, the actors are the ones that the models are based on, and the actor for ezio, is rodrick from diary of a wimpy kid, and ezio and Altair are literally just Desmond with some different features, which is explained in canon that it’s the animus projecting Desmond’s face, so ezio is rodrick
From what I remember, a lot of people disliked 3 because of the main character. He was very bland and boring when compared to Ezio from previous games. And then we got edward in Black Flag, who was also incredibly memorable.

Objectively Ac3 wasnt that good, the opening act takes ages, ev3n when you finally switch to Connor it takes another life to reach the good stuff. And the final nail was Connor not being as likeable character as Ezio. [Also there was not much room for parkour]

Btw, he didn't mention it, but that one comic is actually VERY important to the modern day storyline, as it basically explains what happened to the whole Juno plot line, and the fact that Desmond had a son. It basically resolves that entire thing, and it's just stupid that they never brought this into the games, although it's definitely canon, and wraps up a huge plotline started since the first AC.
There is also the Manga: "Assassins Creed Awakening" published by Tokyopop as well, which is more or less a direct reference to AC4 Black flag
ya know, they are STRUGGLING to make new games in this series that anyone want to play, why not remake some of these on modern hardware with better gameplay? just take what worked in these, mix it with what worked in the mainline AC games, and add a dash of hindsight!
There's one other Black Flag DLC that no one even acknowledges, I've only seen one person do a playthrough of it, one guy reference it in one of his videos and that's it, this DLC is a short sequel to Assassin's Creed III: Liberation set about 7 years after the ending of that game which the plot is Connor asks Aveline to find a potential Assassin recruit named Patience Gibbs who is held hostage on Goat Island and Aveline goes there to find her. It's pretty short and there's not much to talk about it and the ending kinda feels like an unresolved cliffhanger, like it feels like it could be the set up of a prologue of the game many people wanted, being a Connor, Aveline, Shay and Arno crossover game, but it feels like it got canceled because of the backlash Unity received because of the glitches it was plagued with at launch. Yes, it's the Sonic fandom BS thing again. But hey, we might finally see it happen, especially with the Webtoons series Forgotten Temple being a sequel to Black Flag and the game Nexus, but I'm not holding my breath for this anytime soon. Also, I found out the reason why this DLC is obscure is because at the time, it was a PlayStation exclusive while Xbox users didn't get access to it at all, so that explains why barely anyone heard of it, but you can actually play this by the current gen releases of Black Flag that includes all the DLC, so there's that.

Bloodlines was actually so much fun it felt like I was playing the first game again so good.
Bloodlines was the best portable AC game honestly. No eagle vision but every other functionality is there with a fantastic story. Also exclusive to the PS3, progressing in AC 2 and Bloodlines would unlock gadget upgrades and weapons for both. It's a shame no other game I've heard has a feature like this.

Assasin's Creed 3 was definitely not well received as far as I remember. It was mostly due to the combat overhaul and the world/cities just weren't as interesting as previous entries. It was also the 5th mainline game and the concept was starting to get stale, Revelations wasn't as well received as Brotherhood either (which wasn't as well received as II)
PSP games look much better than any portable 2004 console has the right to be.
