You can see that this car is well loved by it's owner. One of the cleanest ones I've seen!
What a lot of people don't understand about the old muscle cars is that there is a certain feeling you get when you sit down in the seat and put the pedal to the metal. I know the tuner guys get on the threads and talk about how fast the little cars are. Well, some are fast, but they will never give you the feeling of raw power like the muscle cars do. If you gave me the choice between a Viper or 70 Charger R/T with a 440 or Hemi over a Lambo, Ferrari, etc., I will take the muscle car every time. People might think that is crazy, but again those are the people who have never driven a true muscle car or have done 130 in a 70 Charger R/T with topend to spare.

The only thing that comes remotely close to that feeling its a large 2500 5.7 ram Hemi, because of the size and the weight and handling. No rice can will ever deliver such an experience.
You can tune muscle cars and get the best of both. You can get up to 1000hp on the 69 charger rt
moparpreacher yeah but really tuner cars can put you in the seat hard. I will choose reliability over feelings and drive a tuner. By the time i get a car the charger will be 50 years old and my dream car, the nissan 300zx 20 years younger.

thanks i currently have the video up on my channel and I've stripped it down quite a bit but the motor needs some work but i currently need money for new tires, brake pads and rotors, headlights, and a new paint job, but other than that she's got great potential. the engine barely runs because apparently the person that had it before put a turbo in it. WHY WOULD YOU PUT A TURBO IN A FREAKING CLASSIC!? It's stupid to put a turbo in a car like that! it's a muscle car not a freaking Nissan or a tuner like that. What do think stupid or not stupid?

Loved the vid man, great job. Starting a 69 Charger project in 6 months. Got the car (no engine decent body condition) but still doing research for best parts. Wish me luck:) Update: I completely forgot to update you guys because got no notification from the vid until yesterday. Unfortunately, things happen in life and i sold my baby to a friend year ago when it was %70 finished. 440 source with 512 stroke engine. t56 trans(don't ask the fitment process lol). 1968'-69' Dodge Chargers are one of the most beautiful things ever built by man. My father's first car was a 1969 Charger, it was stolen twice, when he got it back the car was basically salvaged. But that's what happens when you park on the street in New York in the 70s-80s. He was never a real car guy, but he is a blue collared working man. He used that car to teach his father, mother, and all his siblings to drive. It was the American dream to him, he still talks about that car today and how his favorite part were the retractable headlights. One day I'll get him a 69' and call it ours.
