Excellent video as always! You covered a lot of info quickly, but I have two notes of clarification: 1) By completing dormant realms, you get boxes which have a CHANCE of yielding implants of the grade shown. You certainly don't get a choice. HOWEVER, when you complete particular difficulty for the first time, you get a special one time box. Most just have compilers but, levels 4 and 7 of each of the four different rooms give a guaranteed implant (Warhead Charge, Barrage Repression, High Power Coil, Focused Crystal). Level 4 is Experimental and level 7 is Basic. That means the lower tiers of those four implants are easier to get, to an extent... 2) The passive effects of the implant (made available at 15 and 30) give you a CHOICE of one of the two listed. When docked, you can swap between them, but most do present a significant change in strategy between the two.
Lol watching a guy for how to play the game in a alliance we were JUST at war with. That’s when you know you’ve made it!! EDIT: OK NOW implants make sense. Another good one bud.
Ahoy Captain been awhile since I played just got back on a lot of new things in eve echo 1st thing I did was go straight to your channel you do an awesome job in explaining everything you need to know about game keep up the awesome work 😜
Cap Benzie, I've been dabbling in Eve Echoes for over a year now. Solo doing PVE. Your videos have kept me in the game. I still don't quite understand everything, but your videos have definitely helped me along. Now, if I could borrow you for a few days and play, and you could coach me and answer some questions, lol!
One thing i would add, regarding general units, you cannot stack the same GUs. For instance on your RS, if you opt for drone dmg increase, you can only use 1, even if you have 2 GU slots you cannot use 2 of the same GU even if they are different tiers. (i wasted some isk thinking I could stack these).
@@M1551NGN0 The video discussing implants, how they work, sources to find materials for the implants. Just get some general knowledge out there about them. Its an expensive thing to try and guess your way into and most implant videos I've seen have been, "This is my implant and here is how I've trained it, now lets go see it in action." I mean there was an element of that in this video but it also went deeper than that. Honestly I don't like how implants were handled by the Dev's but not much we can do about it now that they are here.
Hello Benzie. Nice video about implants usage and upgrade. One thing I am noticing about the general units is that they don't get consumed much. So as times goes on they will get cheaper and cheaper. This should be changed to be like rigs. If you fit it, it should be destroyed upon change or unfit. Also maybe even to required to have lower tier one to upgrade it to higher. Or simple make them re-processable into materials and use them to make higher one with new blueprint. Give this to industry.
26:36 sir in the dev ama i suggested for new graphics like the projectiles change according to different modes like striker mode or bombard mode etc. They applied it to the implants. I noticed that regular missile warheads are white in colour when shot. But when you go to the range extending missiles, they become greyish white. And in precision missiles, the warheads become orange and explode more fiercely which is just a nice cosmetic effect that i love.
Thank you very much captain! I was waiting for this video and glad to see it's finally here. Also, I would like to see video about missile implant. I have no problems understanding how it works, just want to see it on practice.
There are a couple questions I have that don't get explained in this video. 1. Can multiple implants be active at once for combo moves in combat? Example being like the bombard mode combined with drone implants. 2. Do you keep the implants if your pod gets popped or I you self destruct your pod?
Off the topic question here. Just a few minutes ago, while mining as fleet commander. Me and 2 others mining had destroyed a rat and the wreck was looted by someone, but the Journal stated that i looted the wreck. There was another miner that was not in fleet as well. Is this a Glitch or hack? Or could it be something to do with an outside force that took it and automatically goes to fleet commander in the journal?
Implants have a lot of uses that won’t seem apparent at first, running thermal circ (rail implant) for cryo armor passive gives me a prophecy guardian with over 230k ehp that’s both cap stable and self repairing Edit: it’s now over 350k ehp
IMO the shield rep implant is one of the most overlooked. the blue level passive gives 15% boost to cap recharge. this really helps tanks or double rep fits
@@Tom_7979 guess that depends on your fit really, I don’t have cap issues on any of my main ships even my 2-3 rep ones so that would be a detriment compared to other boosts available. I’m running a triple rep hyperion that’s got armor output 5 and nos output 8 which makes me cap stable at 945 reps a second, by pairing it with cryo armor for 20% bonus armor I’m running all 80% or higher resists across the board. For me the cap recharge just wouldn’t matter compared to damage negation
I got a blue implant just yesterday, really spent time reading things over and I truly feel thermal circ can be (even more) gamebreaking than the others available, and you've only pointed out one facet of it lol
@@kilowhiskyforge4337 I don’t want to give away all my secrets with implants, cryo armor is such an OP buff that in testing we’ve gotten an archon carrier to over 3M EHP 😏
Implants don’t change because you used a clone or got podded, you still have to access them in station via the implant menu if you want to make any changes.
@@fariin2174 i mean can you specialize a clone for.one thing and have another for a different thing, but i guess it dosnt matter if you can just swap them
@@squigglesmcjr199 level 4 tidal lock is fairly easy, minimum requirement I'd have to say is prophecy command with range rigs and move away from your friends in their BS and let them tank and you can focus the frigs and destroyers. So still not for everyone, maybe a high skilled SFI sniping from far off 🤔. But that would be questionable as far as being carried, some folks that do carry throughs will ask for a logicane. But all in all, if you have some folks in your corp that you can ask, i suggest doing that.
@@thehollyballs currently i have a typhoon a cyclone guardian and a bellicose interdictor, all running target painters, 3 on the beli 1 on cyclone and one on the typhoon
OK lot to unpack here first yes use green to level 10 but after that doesn’t matter. it takes 700 purple to go from level 25 to 30 (that’s 22bil isk) and it’s pretty much a waste to go any higher than that. So just use what you have. second completing a dormant round doesn’t allow you to peck 1 but at first and completion you’ll get a green at a level four and a blue at level seven and depending which you do you can get a Missile canon rail gun and laser just check at those levels and because everybody else yes they do carryover so if you live up the green to 10 and then upgraded to a blue it still carries over
All this trouble could be avoided if this things where consumables and "easy" to get. Indy/Minning guys would have made their money with a nice ore sink and the chain resolves itself from bottom to top.
