I LOVE your art journal…you have inspired me to create one myself. I have never really got the urge to make a junk journal, but making one of these is something I would really enjoy. I think it’s perfectly ok to have an art journal without journaling in it because the creativity is the expressions in that moment. I love the idea of just playing, experimenting and creating in a small space to get the creative juices flowing. Thank you again Jamie

I love this. I remember YEAR'S AGO I took a Tim Holtz technique class IRL (not the Chemistry ones), not sure if it was taught by Tim himself or someone else - thinking it was by Jen Starr. Anyway, the point of that was we had a printable describing the techniques that we glued to the back of each page so we could remember what we did. I need to make a book like you did, but include some on the details (along with the date) so I can remember what I did in order to replicate it somewhat on a layout. Thank you for that reminder!
Also, I had NO idea the glitter POPS of Color would look so good. Now I need to pull those out!! 😉

This is beautiful. Love this little book of creative ideas! Great job. Question - was it hard to add to the pages. Did you put something under the pages that you were working on so it wouldn't mess up the pages below? Amazing job, Jamie!
Actually, no. I did not do that. I have done that before in other of my books if the medium was more messy. This book felt a bit more contained. But that's a great question. I would use a large clip to hold the other pages down and out of the way. As you may or may not be able to tell, this one is sort of warped, so that had to be culled in order to work on the next page. Thank you, Marcia!

Ha ha! I get that question a lot. It was a gift years ago. There is no manufacture stamp on it, only to say it was made in Israel. That's all I got for you. So sorry.

Wow, lovely pages. I AM surprised at how many ages are not pink for you!! Good job! Love the purple, blue and gorgeous greens!! Yes, those embellishments and clusters are great! I will admit my art journals are nowhere near as organized as yours. My time is spent just playing/practicing with different color combinations, textures and mediums. I’m so glad you dated them. That gives us such a reference point. I don’t think I would journal in mine either. These pages are more for reflection, quotes, etc.. I guess, for me, it’s kind of like just trying different things! My hope is that I will find a medium that speaks to me. I am very much a beginner here. Rest for our minds, yes!! ❤. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and process!
That makes me think, when you said your art journals are no where near as organized: I think all my practice stuff, or ideas I sort of scribble out...I end up throwing them away. So that's something...LOL. I would love to see your practice pages too. And so love that an art journal can be home to different things. It is not to hold a specific something. PS...Robin! You only saw this one art journal. There are others floating around in this space. In differing stages of complete or not completeness. (I was just reminded right now of this reality as my vision can be so myopic). So, there are lots of pages in here that have varying levels of practice or color or texture or just plain, yeah...I don't like that at all. Just had to follow that one up for you. OK. So. There it is.

LOL, it’s all I can do to keep up with my scrapbooking. But I have all the supplies and plenty of inspiration. So I’ll start one of these days.
I've done a few junk journaling type pages, but I can tell these art journal pages are more of what I would enjoy doing. You've inspired me to try my hand at playing and using them as inspirations, taking my card making to the next level.
