Well...this is why I share it with the likes of you...LOL! You creative soul you! Hope you can follow along and make your own pretty stuff. Thank you, Susan. Thank you for watching.
Hello, Wilma! Thank you so much for watching. Isn't that Speckled Egg so beautiful? It's such a great hue. Thank you for watching. I am for certain ruminating about part 2. Thanks!
I agree with @susancourtney7527 comment... your creativity is out of this world! And yes I was there for the jets and also YES for part two! Please and thank you!
I absolutely love and look forward to your videos, Jamie. This one is right up my street. I love the subtle colours, dies and all the elements you chose to use in your clusters ❤️ Thank you so much for your time doing these tutorials for us. I’m loving the idea of a part 2 …..Memorydex 😃…..Yes Please! ❤️
Thank you thank you. Makes me happy to share. I'm so glad too you connected with this. Hope as well it inspires your own making. Thank you so very much.
Jamie, you clearly have such a knack for this beautiful layering that you do. Layering and grunge is soooo difficult for me. I don’t have the eye for it, but boy am I glad that I discovered your channel. I can learn so much from you. It would be nice, as a card maker, to meander from my clean and simple path and actually succeed at making a nice layered card! Thank you.
Hello, Diane! Welcome! Thank you for stopping and saying hi. The layering has been a long process of learning up to now. I just hope I can share it well with others, as it is such a satisfying way to make. There are times I wish I could do clean and simple. Maybe you can just add a little here and there. But for sure, thank you for being part of the ride. Have a lovely day!
Such kind words to read this morning! Thank you very much, Becky. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hope you have some inspiration for making too. Have a great one.
You should hear that Seinfeld bass fiddle up loud on my bluetooth BOSE speaker! Also, I think I need therapy! I was watching this on the deck waiting on fireworks from our community park and looked up at the half moon and thought, "Oh it's tattered rose!" Edit: I posted this before you said MEMORYDEX! YES!!!!!
Ha ha! Yes! I see colors in Distress lingo too. The fall sunsets are most especially Villainous Poison. haha But honestly, it's such a fun way to look at the things.
LOL!!! Only if you promise me you will actually make some somethings from the inspiration. haha!!! Kidding not kidding. Seriously though, thank you for watching, Linda. I appreciate that!
Love these colors for backgrounds!! All of these makes are delightful!! Using the moth with the butterfly above it looks amazing! I definitely need to take a second look at those stamps, so many possibilities! I have no doubt each of these will show up later as part of another dynamic journal page and/or card!! I can’t believe the difference it made after you added those stamped dabs of color to the butterfly embellishment, lovely!! Hope you are managing ok w/Rocky Mountain heat this week. Ours starts tomorrow, for the next week. Best time for the making, me thinks!! Stay cool!😎❤️
To be honest, and don't tell anyone this...I get nervous to add stamped additions. And so that's why I get so giddy...because it looks so ridiculously good! LOL!!! I was trying to communicate the don't over think it part. The words were abandoning me. But that's really what has to happen. Those stamps have been hanging around here for a little bit. But are now starting to make their home almost always on the desktop. And oh dear goodness...we don't have air conditioning. But these last few summers I'm starting to reconsider that. Thankfully, this only lasts for a bit. But we got a few more days of it still. 🙏 Stay cool now!!! Thank you so much for watching. Always appreciate your observations.
@@JamiePate I totally get the stamped additions nerves!! I did a card last weekend and added the last stamped idea and 😳 was SO disappointed in the result!!🤦♀️. I sent it anyway! I like the idea of stamping off the page to test first and then ever so lightly stamping the image. Yes, we/I need to stop over thinking the idea and just do it!! I have real issues with the heat, so air conditioning is a must for me these days. Hope you are able to sleep at night. Our humidity here is what gets me. Hope yours breaks soon! Take care🙂❤️
@@robinvogelsang5535 I'm so proud of you for sending anyway! That's just embracing it, eh? Love that. We look at our mistakes and think they look back at us glaringly. But in reality probably not. Hope your heat is tolerable for you. As in all things: this too shall pass. Thank you, Robin!
Oh. My. Goodness!!! I love them all, but the dimensional stamp cluster (last one) is my favorite. I mean that moth fit perfectly over the rub-on! I love blending sprays like you did too and seeing what I get; you never get the same results twice, or at least I don't. Love the colors, the rub-ons, stamps, and well, just everything. Yes please, do share a Part II. I was having so much fun watching you make these gorgeous cluster masterpieces. BTW young lady, I didn't see you wipe the nozzles on those spray bottles, so I'm hoping you did that off screen. Have a wonderful weekend!
ha ha! I feel corrected!! LOL! Actually. I cleaned all the nozzles after the video. But good catch. And for certain, you never get the same results twice. I think one of the tricks is the color combos. There are a couple good ones that really work together and make for such a great base of making. Thank you for watching. I do appreciate your insight. Have a great weekend yourself.
These are wonderful Jamie! My favorite blues. I must get my Wings rub-ons out and do this. And I love that you have a window. The Thunderbirds were great and now a lovely butterfly. When we moved my new craft room has windows that I can actually sit and look out of. It adds to the enjoyment! Have a great weekend! Thanks for sharing 😊
You are absolutely correct! Windows and making are such wonderful combinations. Sure hope you are staying cool where you are at. It's hot here. It must be scorching there. Have a lovely weekend!
@@JamiePate (different Cindy, but I wanted to comment) Video didn't go too long...I was totally enjoying every moment of your makes and truthfully, you could have gone on longer. 😉
@@FLCindy That made me laugh...thank you, Different Cindy...LOL...I really do appreciate your thoughts. And that's sort of why the q about Pt2. Thank you so much for watching!!!
Beautiful - I wish I could have seen that butterfly out your window too. I haven't seen many this year which makes me sad. You know I love me some butterflies. I love that large butterfly embellishment that you made. Gorgeous!! I really think I "need" those postage dies. NEED - haha. You are making the cutest things all the time with them. ADD TO CART. lol. Do you even need to ask if we want a part 2 - I mean, really? haha. Yes to part 2 please. That layered butterfly at the end is so amazing. Just gorgeous!!! I just found out that Katie Pertiet has digital paper and embellishments - where have I been? Can't wait to dive into those. Can you answer a question for me? Please. I have several of Heidi's color shines. How do they compare to Tim Holtz spritz's? I keep thinking I need to use Heidis up before I purchase more stuff - but you always make the most amazing things with Tim's spritz's. This video was so fun. Just love how creative you are!!
Hey, Marcia! You would have just adored seeing that butterfly. It was a little extra odd as I am on the second floor. I am usually looking down at it as it flutters about the back yard. So that was such a treat! And honestly, I can't believe how beautiful these turned out. I'm just so tickled by them. And wish my studio was not so darn hot right now so I could just get to making even more. Those postage dies...I think I used in the MemoryDex class too, right? haha! I can't even remember. Love a die set that can be used so well over and over again. I need to probably do an analysis of the Distress Spray to the Color Shine. I can't legit answer that question. I just know you can't get the Color Shine anymore and do not want to frustrate makers that it's not available. I really am happy that this is a Distress product that actually compliments existing colors. That was a huge thing for me. Anyway. that does not answer your question. But I will consider pulling those out and giving them a look see. Have a great weekend. Hope you are making pretty stuff. Thank you!
