- U.S. Olympic athletes have lost faith in the World Anti-Doping Agency to rid their sports of cheaters ahead of next month’s Summer Games in Paris, two former gold medalists said Tuesday in prepared testimony before a House subcommittee.
The comments by #MichaelPhelps and Allison Schmitt followed revelations that 23 Chinese swimmers had tested positive for a banned heart medication ahead of the Tokyo #Olympics in 2021 but were allowed by WADA to compete. Five of those swimmers went on to win medals, including three golds. #Shorts

Doping is part of professional sports and has been for decades. The game is as much to perform to win medals as it is to not get caught doping.
Sad, but true.
😆 Phelps did it clean. 100% clean. Yes there's doping in all sports from high school to the Olympics. But when China and Russia continually dope and win copious amounts of medals, the rest of the sport suffers. But do go on. Maybe have a doping Olympics then. You know everyone's dirty and the playing field is even. If you like cheaters so be it, but they don't belong on the normals playing fields.
Have to believe it when The Mandarin testifies.
