Honestly, I think Hawkmoth is a terrible villain. He akumatizes people and when they don’t get the miraculous, he’s just like “darn, guess I’ll try again tomorrow “ We’ve seen Hawkmoth fight, so why doesn’t he just fight ladybug and Chat Noir? I hope in season 4 we’ll see Hawkmoth do more things.

Right, here’s something that I think could improve Hawk Moth: SMARTS. Okay, let’s look at this from a somewhat realistic viewpoint. Hawk Moth is an adult. Ladybug, Cat Noir and the other heroes are teenagers. Based off what we have in the show, I think it’s safe to say that the Butterfly Miraculous has been in Gabe’s possession for a while. Therefore, he has more experience. Instead of rinsing and repeating the same tired plans, have him learn. What are their weaknesses? How did one particular threat fare as opposed to another? Which kind of villains do they struggle with the most? We’re told Gabriel is smart. Show us that. Like, maybe once he realises the akumas are too obvious, have him target items that are more inconspicuous. Have him take note of specific emotional responses from the other characters, and use it to his advantage. That would make him more threatening, as he constantly learns from his failures and continuously readapts his strategy to outsmart the heroes rather than try to simply beat them with brute force. This would make him more unpredictable, since he changes up his approach so many times it’s almost impossible to know what he’s planning next.
Yea forever example Ladybug's weak spot is seeing Adrien hurt or going to get hurt and Chat Noir's is Ladybug being hurt like we see in one of the episodes(Ladybug) so technically saying their weak spots are seeing the person they love getting hurt
If Gabriel said to Nathalie "Im not letting this happen, again" That means technically that Adriens Mothers was using the Kwami for bad purpose. Also that means that the kwamis told thier owners how to use the miraculouses!
Well, the kwamis were being forced to tell them and in the first ever episode when Nooroo was explaining to Gabriel he didn't know that Gabriel was gonna use the miraculous for evil.

In my opinion Lila is actually the worst. She hurts people's feeling and lies to them to pretend to be good, and she want to be a villain and even akumatized voluntarily. Hawk moth do evil things because Emily, but she is just selfish. She want to be Adrien's girlfriend but when Adrien tell her about don't lie again, she just turn angry. She never cares about Adrien's word, maybe want to be girlfriend of him is just because he is famous. She is the true villain to me.
I believe it's because of her parents' absence in her life that cause her to act like she does. Her mom works at an embassy (6am-11pm). And we never see Lila's dad. She's covering up her pain by lying to make others think that she's better than how she feels
I once saw a theory that Lila will be the future Hawk Moth, which I think is interesting. In general, I'd agree with this list for now, but I think we need to know about Lila and Nathalie for a final decision. Also I live Nathalie for reasons I can not explain with words at this moment? But I never cared how evil a villain is to love them haha
Well her name can be translated to mean 'Heartless' or 'without heart' it's entirely possible that, and this is pure speculation, she has some form of muted affect disorder and is so devoted to Hawk Moth's plans because she can actually feel some genuine emotion around him. Not excusing it by any means.
Why would it be some excuse ? The name just refers to her character, she seems cold but she can show emotions. Like " Agreste " refers to a kind of butterfly, and " Bourgeois " refers to Chloe and her family's status

The show takes a lot of inspiration from Japanese media, specifically anime. In several franchises a character's name will give hints as to power sets or personalities, like a guy named "Blaze" having fire powers.
@@gabrieleronzino3745 I would agree on all of them except Chloe Gabriel is the driving force behind the main plot and delving into the potentially well intentioned desires that drove him down the path of villainy or if there was any good to begin with is intriguing. Nathalie and her near slavish devotion to the man is, again, interesting. How did she wind up working for him, how did he win over her loyalty so thoroughly? Is she herself a Sentimonster created through the miraculous she now wields to serve Gabriel as Emilie's act before the toll was too much for her? If Gabriel will not trust his own son with what he is doing then why a mere employee? Is Gorilla in on it too? Chloe might just be the best developed character in the show this far and we probably have more of an understanding of her at this point than we do the minds of either of the protagonists. We've seen parts of her she wants to keep hidden from the world, seen her raised to the highest point in her life as Queen Bee and the mistakes she made were then treated as if she had the training and experience of LB or CN, crippling her faith in them and leaping at an opportunity to get back what she lost when Hawk Moth presented it to her. But she's still a brat who believes herself entitled to things because of who she is. We've even seen that a lot of her motivation is her seeking acknowledgment from those around her, hinting at what could be very well hidden esteem problems. She seeks validation almost as much as gratification. Lila though? She's everything wrong with Chloe taken up to 15. The character with the least amount of redeeming or humanising features. She is a character built on lies, greed, bitterness and envy. A person who you would put on a pedestal and say "here is an example of human evil" I despise her when she is on screen because every other word she spews is vile poison. Gabriel, Nathalie and Chloe are highly flawed humans. Lila feels like a charicature.
I hate it when people say that Nathalie is evil. First off, she and Gabriel are the same amount of redeemable. It is confirmed that not only she knew Emilie, they were literally childhood friends. And we don't know enough about her to make assumptions yet. Fans are constantly saying "She ratted Adrien out for being Cat Noir!!" but seriously, what did you EXPECT her to do? While she very well could have told Hawk Moth for her own selfish reasons, there is no way that lying to him would do any good unless Hawk Moth never found out. Nathalie might have thought that Gabriel would stop being Hawk Moth, or stop risking hurting his son. People also seem to think that Nathalie agrees with Gabriel, but she actually told him to stop multiple times in the first season. Why does she change her mind? Well considering that she is constantly seeing him do it, it would become normalized. It's not like she has any other friends or social life.

I feel like Lila has to do a little more to become an actual villain. Right now she’s just a liar. That’s not exactly what I would call devious. What I would love to see is Lila tap into her lies and emotionally manipulate other people to her advantage. Or even hatch a plan to overthrow Hawk Moth and gain notoriety. In my eyes, Lila’s main motive is fame. She wants everyone to remember who she is, no matter what it costs. I feel like if the writers tap into that side of her character, even find a way to weave it into her backstory, then Lila could very quickly become a very intimidating and interesting villain.

I’m probably going to get bombarded with comments for saying this but, *I actually like Lila.* Now, before you go super sayain on me, hear me out. She’s the perfect villain in my opinion. She uses cunning and deceit unlike every cliche villain that uses brawn. And the villains that use cunning usually have the most impact and I generally like them better. Like Scar, or Viggo to name a few. And using the wise words of Annabeth Chase: _Even strength has to bow down to wisdom sometimes._ So villain wise, I really do like her character.
Then... there's Marrinette. She's the protagonist, the real main protagonist, but she caused more akumatizations than Chloe. She's a literal stalker- and her love for Adrien is obsessive. When it comes to Adrien, she is almost as manipulative and selfish as Lila- like when she convinced the firefighter to tie up those trashcans. She exaggerates and gives half-truths when she does not need to! She also ignores Tikki's good advice, and can be kind of thoughtless. Remember how she just slipped on Chat Noir's Miraculous without giving any thought to what Chat would do? Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, or being a hypocrite, but, honestly, no-one ever seems to talk about this...

Mayura is probably the most powerful and dangerous for one her miraculous is way more powerful than the butterfly as it can create life out of nothing and erase it at will just as easily as well as create perfect replicas of other people and can influence pain on said sentimonster and control it using the object where the amok is and she is most dangerous because where hawk moth sits in his lair like a coward letting the villains do all the fighting mayura is the complete opposite of that she actually goes out in person more often than hawk moth and sometimes gets into actual battles honestly if it wasn’t for the sickness from the peacock miraculous she could outlive or even take hawk moths place by betraying him which is what exactly she deserves after being the punching bag for both ladybug and miraculer so in summary mayura is more than most people think at first and I’m glad you put her as number one thanks she finally gets the attention she deserves

I think Felix would be between chloe and Lila, he stole adrien’s phone, pretended to be him, put him in danger, sided with hawk moth and stole from Gabriel, he’s a kid who lost his dad and had no friends but he’s still evil, his mom supported him stealing the ring from his uncle and didn’t punish him for doing all of the things he did in Felix, Adrien’s family just sucks he’s the only angel in it
Felix is evil, indeed. But he is not a main character in the show, for now. We don't know he will come back or not. And her mother... I think these rings must be very important to her, or her family. So her didn't punished him for stealing it from his uncle.
@111 games Amelie must’ve given the rings to Emilie when she got engaged to Gabriel. Like she said, they originally belonged to her side of the family. Most likely she wanted the rings back because they’re her last memory of her sister. I doubt she knew that Felix stole them. She probably thought he simple persuaded Gabriel to give them back.
I’d actually be really excited to see Lila become a full-blown villain (not an antagonist; a *villain*). Lila already seems to be in a position where she can serve as a double agent for Gabriel, she has at least some knowledge of the Miraculous, and her talent for lying and manipulating others nearly got MARINETTE of all people pushed to her breaking point. I seriously believe that, in the right circumstances and through the proper channel, Lila has the potential to become outright dangerous. Maybe not a Venom to Marinette’s Spider-Man, but arguably more like Lex Luther to her Superman. Chloe is just an obnoxious brat, and, while I felt there was a part of her that could change if she was forced to learn that being a hero doesn’t mean fans and glory, by the end of Season 3 I kinda felt that her arc was void (though I’ve gotten really tired of people taking awful, nasty characters and trying to redeem them or make us feel sorry for them) but credit where it’s due for trying to add some depth to the stereotypical mean rich girl. Natalie, though, would be really interesting to see develop and it’d actually be kind of a shocking twist if she ended up being the final boss. While it’s unlikely, Natalie seems like someone who probably should be forced out of the shadows at some point.
Hawk moth is just trying to save who he has lost and Natalie is trying to save her friend Emily and help her love be happy and lila.... well...she just wants Adrian and thats one of the reasons why she lies or because she grew up having everything she wanted until her dad died maybe
age aside, Lila is the best villain next to Natalie. Hawkmoth is dumb (not the character idea but things he does), without Natalie some of his greater plans would have never happened. Natalie is doing this out of love so is Gabriel. but Lila is doing it just because, she has the capability of being the best villain. she is actually very smart along with manipulative, she doesn't let anything get in her way not even love. thats why I personally feel she is the best and most evil out of them all regardless of age. I think if she was Hawkmoth the villains would actually be hard for Ladybug and Chat Noir to beat, or at least put up a fair fight. she is definitely my favorite villain. I cant wait to see her return.
As much as Hawkmoth is the obvious villain, I sort of feel like him doing horrible things isn't as horrifying as it might seem because his ultimate plan is to rewrite the world. So nothing he does really matters. That is to say - if he loses any given battle, Ladybug resets everything to the way it was before, and no harm is done. If he wins, then he makes his wish, and the universe gets rewritten, at which point nothing really matters because the world changes completely. He could shoot Adrien point blank and it wouldn't matter because he makes his wish, and the entire world is changed from the point his wife died.
I feel like Gabriel and Natalie are both on the same level because Natalie is helping Gabriel achieve his dream by taking the risk of useing a brocken miraculous and Gabriel is turning people into monsters just to get his wife back i mean he should learn to except that she is dead and lila might just be more evil than you think Gabriel is doing it to get his wife back its stupid but still there is a purpose and Natalie is doing it to help Gabriel lila doesn't exactly want or need anything she just wants the joy of there death

I can kind of see where hawkmoth is heading from, I feel bad for him as a dad who has to raise his son without a wife/mother for the son. I feel like he is wanting to regain control over his family and once again have his desired life back. In general people don't just do something bad for no reason, it is not an excuse to do something bad, it's an understanding. The people he akumatized also were going through something which led them to being akumatized. Everyone goes through goods and bads in their lifetime and it's important to recognise that. Some people that never went through a situation similar to hawkmoth really hate him but never realise that he would never actually achieve his goal.

They are all around the same part of the box. I have this theory that Feux will get the bee and Lila will get the Fox miraculous to give the other villains a break, I personally would like to see something different as well. I’m also wondering now only 3 heroes are not revealed, what will happen season four... I bet Marinette will still give Ayla the Fox miraculous and it will be taken this way, by everyone knowing who she is.

Sometimes Hawkmoth’s villains are just the worst...or might just be the way the show executed them. Next season is coming next year honestly I hope next season is better than season 3 because I didn’t like season 3, I really liked season 2 though but season 3 just had tons of filler. No development.
The strength of the akumatized villains depends on what the victims want out of being akumatized. So sometimes they’re strong while other times they’re aren’t that much of a threat. And season 3, while obviously still having a lot of filler, had a plethora of episodes that either contributed to the plot or characters in some way if you look closely. Character development, however, was heavily lacking in this season.

In my opinion Lila is actually the worst. She hurts people's feeling and lies to them to pretend to be good, and she want to be a villain and even akumatized voluntarily. Hawk moth do evil things because Emily, but she is just selfish. She want to be Adrien's girlfriend but when Adrien tell her about don't lie again, she just turn angry. She never cares about Adrien's word, maybe want to be girlfriend of him is just because he is famous. She is the true villain to me.

Well her name can be translated to mean 'Heartless' or 'without heart' it's entirely possible that, and this is pure speculation, she has some form of muted affect disorder and is so devoted to Hawk Moth's plans because she can actually feel some genuine emotion around him.

Why would it be some excuse ? The name just refers to her character, she seems cold but she can show emotions. Like " Agreste " refers to a kind of butterfly, and " Bourgeois " refers to Chloe and her family's status

The show takes a lot of inspiration from Japanese media, specifically anime. In several franchises a character's name will give hints as to power sets or personalities, like a guy named "Blaze" having fire powers.

Gabriel is the driving force behind the main plot and delving into the potentially well intentioned desires that drove him down the path of villainy or if there was any good to begin with is intriguing.
Nathalie and her near slavish devotion to the man is, again, interesting. How did she wind up working for him, how did he win over her loyalty so thoroughly? Is she herself a Sentimonster created through the miraculous she now wields to serve Gabriel as Emilie's act before the toll was too much for her? If Gabriel will not trust his own son with what he is doing then why a mere employee? Is Gorilla in on it too?
Chloe might just be the best developed character in the show this far and we probably have more of an understanding of her at this point than we do the minds of either of the protagonists. We've seen parts of her she wants to keep hidden from the world, seen her raised to the highest point in her life as Queen Bee and the mistakes she made were then treated as if she had the training and experience of LB or CN, crippling her faith in them and leaping at an opportunity to get back what she lost when Hawk Moth presented it to her. But she's still a brat who believes herself entitled to things because of who she is. We've even seen that a lot of her motivation is her seeking acknowledgment from those around her, hinting at what could be very well hidden esteem problems. She seeks validation almost as much as gratification.
Lila though? She's everything wrong with Chloe taken up to 15. The character with the least amount of redeeming or humanising features. She is a character built on lies, greed, bitterness and envy. A person who you would put on a pedestal and say "here is an example of human evil" I despise her when she is on screen because every other word she spews is vile poison.
Gabriel, Nathalie and Chloe are highly flawed humans. Lila feels like a charicature.

I hate it when people say that Nathalie is evil. First off, she and Gabriel are the same amount of redeemable. It is confirmed that not only she knew Emilie, they were literally childhood friends. And we don't know enough about her to make assumptions yet. Fans are constantly saying "She ratted Adrien out for being Cat Noir!!" but seriously, what did you EXPECT her to do? While she very well could have told Hawk Moth for her own selfish reasons, there is no way that lying to him would do any good unless Hawk Moth never found out. Nathalie might have thought that Gabriel would stop being Hawk Moth, or stop risking hurting his son. People also seem to think that Nathalie agrees with Gabriel, but she actually told him to stop multiple times in the first season. Why does she change her mind? Well considering that she is constantly seeing him do it, it would become normalized. It's not like she has any other friends or social life.
Thank you for finaly mentioning nathalie, she is my queen and whoever says she is evil i torment them and go on a full on rampage about how she is the strongest and most powerfull character in miraculous :)

I feel like Lila has to do a little more to become an actual villain. Right now she’s just a liar. That’s not exactly what I would call devious. What I would love to see is Lila tap into her lies and emotionally manipulate other people to her advantage. Or even hatch a plan to overthrow Hawk Moth and gain notoriety. In my eyes, Lila’s main motive is fame. She wants everyone to remember who she is, no matter what it costs. I feel like if the writers tap into that side of her character, even find a way to weave it into her backstory, then Lila could very quickly become a very intimidating and interesting villain.

Now, before you go super sayain on me, hear me out. She’s the perfect villain in my opinion. She uses cunning and deceit unlike every cliche villain that uses brawn. And the villains that use cunning usually have the most impact and I generally like them better. Like Scar, or Viggo to name a few. And using the wise words of Annabeth Chase: _Even strength has to bow down to wisdom sometimes._

Then... there's Marrinette. She's the protagonist, the real main protagonist, but she caused more akumatizations than Chloe. She's a literal stalker- and her love for Adrien is obsessive. When it comes to Adrien, she is almost as manipulative and selfish as Lila- like when she convinced the firefighter to tie up those trashcans. She exaggerates and gives half-truths when she does not need to! She also ignores Tikki's good advice, and can be kind of thoughtless. Remember how she just slipped on Chat Noir's Miraculous without giving any thought to what Chat would do?
Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, or being a hypocrite, but, honestly, no-one ever seems to talk about this...

Mayura is probably the most powerful and dangerous for one her miraculous is way more powerful than the butterfly as it can create life out of nothing and erase it at will just as easily as well as create perfect replicas of other people and can influence pain on said sentimonster and control it using the object where the amok is and she is most dangerous because where hawk moth sits in his lair like a coward letting the villains do all the fighting mayura is the complete opposite of that she actually goes out in person more often than hawk moth and sometimes gets into actual battles honestly if it wasn’t for the sickness from the peacock miraculous she could outlive or even take hawk moths place by betraying him which is what exactly she deserves after being the punching bag for both ladybug and miraculer so in summary mayura is more than most people think at first and I’m glad you put her as number one thanks she finally gets the attention she deserves

Felix is evil, indeed. But he is not a main character in the show, for now. We don't know he will come back or not.
And her mother... I think these rings must be very important to her, or her family. So her didn't punished him for stealing it from his uncle.
@111 games Amelie must’ve given the rings to Emilie when she got engaged to Gabriel. Like she said, they originally belonged to her side of the family. Most likely she wanted the rings back because they’re her last memory of her sister. I doubt she knew that Felix stole them. She probably thought he simple persuaded Gabriel to give them back.

I’d actually be really excited to see Lila become a full-blown villain (not an antagonist; a *villain*). Lila already seems to be in a position where she can serve as a double agent for Gabriel, she has at least some knowledge of the Miraculous, and her talent for lying and manipulating others nearly got MARINETTE of all people pushed to her breaking point. I seriously believe that, in the right circumstances and through the proper channel, Lila has the potential to become outright dangerous. Maybe not a Venom to Marinette’s Spider-Man, but arguably more like Lex Luther to her Superman.
Chloe is just an obnoxious brat, and, while I felt there was a part of her that could change if she was forced to learn that being a hero doesn’t mean fans and glory, by the end of Season 3 I kinda felt that her arc was void (though I’ve gotten really tired of people taking awful, nasty characters and trying to redeem them or make us feel sorry for them) but credit where it’s due for trying to add some depth to the stereotypical mean rich girl.
Natalie, though, would be really interesting to see develop and it’d actually be kind of a shocking twist if she ended up being the final boss. While it’s unlikely, Natalie seems like someone who probably should be forced out of the shadows at some point.

age aside, Lila is the best villain next to Natalie. Hawkmoth is dumb (not the character idea but things he does), without Natalie some of his greater plans would have never happened. Natalie is doing this out of love so is Gabriel. but Lila is doing it just because, she has the capability of being the best villain. she is actually very smart along with manipulative, she doesn't let anything get in her way not even love. thats why I personally feel she is the best and most evil out of them all regardless of age. I think if she was Hawkmoth the villains would actually be hard for Ladybug and Chat Noir to beat, or at least put up a fair fight. she is definitely my favorite villain. I cant wait to see her return.
As much as Hawkmoth is the obvious villain, I sort of feel like him doing horrible things isn't as horrifying as it might seem because his ultimate plan is to rewrite the world. So nothing he does really matters. That is to say - if he loses any given battle, Ladybug resets everything to the way it was before, and no harm is done. If he wins, then he makes his wish, and the universe gets rewritten, at which point nothing really matters because the world changes completely. He could shoot Adrien point blank and it wouldn't matter because he makes his wish, and the entire world is changed from the point his wife died.
I feel like Gabriel and Natalie are both on the same level because Natalie is helping Gabriel achieve his dream by taking the risk of useing a brocken miraculous and Gabriel is turning people into monsters just to get his wife back i mean he should learn to except that she is dead and lila might just be more evil than you think Gabriel is doing it to get his wife back its stupid but still there is a purpose and Natalie is doing it to help Gabriel lila doesn't exactly want or need anything she just wants the joy of there death

I can kind of see where hawkmoth is heading from, I feel bad for him as a dad who has to raise his son without a wife/mother for the son. I feel like he is wanting to regain control over his family and once again have his desired life back. In general people don't just do something bad for no reason, it is not an excuse to do something bad, it's an understanding. The people he akumatized also were going through something which led them to being akumatized. Everyone goes through goods and bads in their lifetime and it's important to recognise that. Some people that never went through a situation similar to hawkmoth really hate him but never realise that he would never actually achieve his goal.
We don’t know if Emily and Natalie use to be best friends or Emily did something for Natalie and why would she help save her if she was in love with Gabiel.

I wonder what would happen when Lila and Feux meet. I’m also wondering if the bee, Fox, turtle have additional powers like the peacock and butterfly miraculous. They are all around the same part of the box. I have this theory that Feux will get the bee and Lila will get the Fox miraculous to give the other villains a break, I personally would like to see something different as well. I’m also wondering now only 3 heroes are not revealed, what will happen season four... I bet Marinette will still give Ayla the Fox miraculous and it will be taken this way, by everyone knowing who she is.

To be fair, Lila and Chloe are pretty much designed to be hated, particularly the former.
Chloe is so underrated and her attitude improve after getting the miraculous and her influence from her mom, and Hawk Moth does bad to get his wife for his son so he actually cares but Lila has ALOT of hate for both ladybug and marinette

Sometimes Hawkmoth’s villains are just the worst...or might just be the way the show executed them. Next season is coming next year honestly I hope next season is better than season 3 because I didn’t like season 3, I really liked season 2 though but season 3 just had tons of filler. No development.
The strength of the akumatized villains depends on what the victims want out of being akumatized. So sometimes they’re strong while other times they’re aren’t that much of a threat. And season 3, while obviously still having a lot of filler, had a plethora of episodes that either contributed to the plot or characters in some way if you look closely. Character development, however, was heavily lacking in this season.

I just hop season 4 will focus on adrien and his point of view, miraculous is a good show but I really wanna see adrien as the focus without marinnet intorapting in the episode I mean they traied to give him his own episode in filix but marinnet was also involved havely in the episode so yeh and I don't hate Marinette she is a good character but she is overused she is like Steven in Steven universe Cause Steven is overused in Steven universe he is always involved in the show even in episodes where it doesn't have to do with him so yeh, I'm fine with Marinette being the main character of the show but Adrien needs developments and some solo episodes just like marinnet were he makes mistakes and have to fix his mistakes all by himself
Adrien/cat noir is my least favorite character in the show I like Alya layla Nino and chleo more then adrien, he is fine when he is cat noir I like his jokes and he is very funny so he is fine as cat noir but my problem is that he is always a sidekick to lady bug and I don't like that and he is not interesting when he is adrien and I'm not a toxic fan who atackes the creator this is just a problem that I have with the show and I hop they will fix it so yeh cause my problem with Adrien is that when he is cat noir he is ladybug s sidekick and when he is adrien he is marrinet s crush so yeh thats not a good thing in my opinion he needs more he deserves better I mean he is the second main character of the show but I feel like alya and Chloe have more screen Time and development then him so yeh adrien is my least favorite character in the show I don't hate adrien but he is my least favorite character compered to the others
I don't think it's possible to have a full episode without Marinette in it, but I get your point. I also think there needs to be more character development.
Sigh you know Gabriel actually loves him he hopes his son is cat noir so he can save himself he can't lose him hes a good parent
