He trained as a cantor when he was younger, and I suspect it is part of why he has such incredible control over his powerful voice. He is obviously very talented and blessed with amazing vocal chords. He smashed this version of the famous song out of the park, indeed out of the county!

I have tickets to see Falling in Reverse open for Disturbed next month. I have wanted to see this song performed in person ever since I saw this video and I absolutely can't wait! The hot guy in the woods .... that's Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder...you loved both when you listened to all seperately...glad you enjoyed, we, the fans have for many years. Sadly we lost Chris, just like Lane, and Kurt, Eddie is the only one left.
I consider this the 2nd greatest cover of all time. Only Johnny Cash's version of Hurt to me tops this one. I literally pulled my car over on the side of the road the first time I heard this. Truly incredible.
