Truly an epic adventure for you guys. Beautiful Video and wonderful musical score. You're right Todd, it's not the trucks , it's the drivers. Nevertheless, it's scary. You got to love those drone shots. How cool. All the best mate. 👍👍 Jim and Harriet

Having actually driven this road in October 2023 but in reverse fashion from Kasi to Phou Koun I will say Todd we loved the views of Sky mountain and it brought it all home to us. This is such a climb but for you a decline that most people have no idea of. Those bloody Chinese Semi Trailers are so many in number and honestly we could not believe there would be that many on the roads up there. We cannot wait to drive back up there mate.

Whoa, the rainy season is on and going up those mountain roads is a bit nerve wracking. Really awesome drone footage to go with how green everything is this time of year. Cool place you stayed in, and it wouldn't be the same without a swimming pool for Mina. Now E 6 is in the past and I look ahead to E 7. Cheers, Todd!

Great vlog. Start in the pool end in the pool. Mina mermaid has get to be wrinkled but not from the water it the road. Going to have gray hair, too. All those check points along the way don't slow down the trucks. Great flyover always so nice. Have great night. Safe travels on Sunday, Todd Neenee and young Mina.

The easiest way to support the channel is to allow the ads to play all the way through. It doesn't take long and is the least we can do for all the work that goes into creating these videos we all enjoy so much.

Great vlog as always Todd. Those roads were not designed for articulated lorries and the surface is continually battered and broken! I would think that the one in the ditch miscalculated as he was faced by one coming the other way at speed! Whatever happened it will take some time to clear it. That resort looks amazing with the river flowing very swiftly by and the backdrop is just wonderful. Thanks for sharing as always. God bless the whole crew 😀❤🙏

    Hey Todd ,
I just read a travel industry research paper that said that children who go on protracted road trips without an etch-a-sketch to occupy their mind almost always grow up to be chronic nose-pickers. This happened to my brother. I used to hog the etch-a-sketch on our family trips and all he had to do was to stare out the window with his little mind on flutter. In all our family pictures and even on his passport picture poor Bob has his index finger up his snout. Something to think about , yes?

Out of curiosity, do the drivers of those large trucks require a special license? Here in the US, you need to have a commercial driver's license (CDL) and different certifications for different trucks and payloads. Some of those drivers are quite dangerous behind the wheel considering the road conditions, weather, and little consideration for others on the road. 🙏👍

An American DOT ( Dept of Transportation ) Officer would have a Field Day with those trucks. Laos is missing out on millions of dollars/kip in fines for weight per axle rules and general maintenance inspection fines like brake shoe thickness measurements, lighting regulations, log book infraction fines, ect, ect, I'm sure the government would never see a dime of the money though. In good news, bought tickets for my next trip. Will be over in January to meet the fiancee's extended family. That dinner is going to cost me ? Will try to save some money for another donation for your trips. Take care!

Write them some safety tickets. They won’t be safer. They will just have less money for food, or in some cases no money and food. In the Philippines they just confiscate the motorbike that the breadwinner bought after saving up for 3 years. It’s a form of legal theft. The hungry kids are the ones that pay the price. It’s not making anything safer.

Only way we got anything done was my wife is Lao.I have been many times and it seems to worse. But that's the way the world gos. The Chinese will kill it all. A casino on the old CIA airstrip.
