A beautiful little knife. Right up my alley. Love the look of the blade. I'm sold!

Awesome looking knife. Got my first Lionsteel a week ago. its an SR-2A. that one needed a few days to become smooth and had a little lockstick the first 3 days. after i played with it a few days all issues where gone. A quick tip for the Lionsteel integral line: To get rid of the grease i oiled it up and i used compressed air the next day to spray the oil and grease out of there, i oiled it up again and the next day i used the compressed air again. after that oil it up once more and it'll be a smooth ass knife. can't myself from carrying it.
And i really love your videos and the amount of uploads u do, awesome keep it up :)!

I think your Christmas gift attitude sums it up for me: I'd definitely be happy to try and probably to own one, but probably not out of my own pocket with that price tag

Any thoughts of selling out were laid to rest with this video. Forthright, honest review. Keep 'em coming brother and hoping Santa gets the hint!!!

+Steve Ottavaino There will be no selling out, Steve ;). Mike sends me a big box o' knives. Some I'll do full reviews and product overviews on. Some I won't do at all. But there will never be a positive review of a knife I think is substandard on this channel. Obviously, I'm not going to do a hit piece on a knife for Mike's site either. I'll just say nothing at all :)

Great review. Loved your "Italian impersonation"...........LOL. Never a "dull" moment on this channel. ( pun intended )

Have you ever considered making (or at least designing) your own line of folding knives Rob? I can think of no-one with a more encyclopedic knowledge and understanding of what's required. Just a thought. God bless mate.

Nice video. I'm almost sure I will end up buying this knife. If I do, it would be my first Lionsteel and I love the look of all they're designs. However, I can't seem to find enough testing videos on Sleipner steel folders for better insight on the steel. Can you tell me from your experience how the edge might hold up on this steel compared to s30v? Which one would require more sharpening after frequent use? Im looking to turn this into an edc reguardless of how chunky it is.

After watching this review I considered this knife as an EDC blade. But I've found an even better option. It would be really great if you could review this as well.
    Steel Will Gekko 1500
It's also an italian blade, but not as bulky and as thick as the TM1. Italian elegance ;)

Bought one for 90 euros used, it was a steal!

Are Benchmades and SOGS locks better or do you feel more confident with them rather than this lock back design, even tho it's Italian craftsmanship? Great video!!!

Daily carrying this wears out the threads for the clip

I'm a Sheriff Deputy. The best duty blade is Benchmade 810 Contiego.......

Except for if anything gets stuck in the Omega spring which happened to me several times on the job.

Nice review. And the price is so high for you american because your blades cost way to much over here in Europe.
But, unfortunately we pay also that high price for this beautiful blade over here with us in Europe. That's a real mistake from the Italian mob.

I'd pay 10 times over that Cold steel...

Glad Lionsteel didn't jump to conclusions and make this a quarter-inch stock with Ti slabs. Not all police officers are tacky bastard operators. some like more class. Dang if i was a cop id want to patrol in a 1950 Hudson Hornet and carry a S&W Model 12 with an Ithaca 37 in the back seat. LOL
