I don't think the settings matter too much, there's definitely a lot to consider regarding how we place our hands and our relation with the triggers however.
- Mostly the left thumb stick should be held forward and steered in a parabolic arc. It gives you a lot more control than simply flicking left and right like is being done on the video.
- Secondly the dual sense is really soft on its triggers (haptics would probably be a massive help here but alas they're not supported by ACC to my knowledge, at least on PC). You want to really make a conscious effort on how little you need to press the trigger to get between 10% to 50% throttle input.
- That zone is the soft spot which allows slip angle on the vehicle in corners and I find it very tricky still personally given how little you actually need to depress the trigger, and how soft it is to do so. What I personally opt to do is to simply make a mechanical motion with my finger like a little crane that's slowly squeezing the trigger. I observe to vehicle slip and sound of tyre squeal and if it's too much, i'll reverse this craning motion quickly back outwards and once more resume it back in. The start should be slow, and it gradually gets quicker the further in, and straighter the car becomes.
- I also found upshifting on Y and down-shifting on R1 to be more comfortable for me. I'm downshifting on brake, not accel so I'll never need to press R2 when I downshift on R1. And upshifting on Y makes more sense for me since my hands are large and my thumb gets cramped trying to press O instead of the further up Y.
You also in general want to avoid aggressively flicking the car into a high speed corner, causing it to drift, since this will ruin your tyre lifespan, and can be seen happening occasionally in the video, causing a yellow spike in tyre temps.
Just some thoughts.

What are the steering options for Controllers? Is it only the Joystick?
@@Kennstdudast if you are connected with your controller then you can use your joystick.. unless you opt for the professional setup with the driving rig.. I don't have space n money for that though and I just play the game for fun not for any race tournaments..

Try playing it by changing the setting from ps5 to 1080p, and you will see that it is much nicer!
I didn't see much difference between any of the resolution options. Still looks blurry but the frame rate is solid

@@mauler77 Acc was made to run on ps4 pro at 1800p or 1080p. At 1800p the image is enlarged with a bad upscaling, causing aliasing and blur. Instead at 1080p, we have excellent supersampling from 1800 to 1080, which makes the image with very little aliasing and overall cleaner. This is my opinion!

@@calisthenos8364 I'll give it another go but a next gen patch is what we really need, however D3T haven't even addressed some of the launch bugs so I'm not that hopeful we'll get one.
So much better in a simulator. Do not miss playing these games on a controller.
I need help
If anyone uses the ps5 controller I would appreciate some setting suggestions please as in the option menu for controller I don’t know what the several options do. I’m not a hacksaw type driver I like to be smooth with my inputs
This game is perfectly playable on controller but accept you will be slower than a wheel. So I just play single player and lower the difficulty.
there are plenty of player's in this games who are faster with controller,all you need to practice.

Ciezko ustawic optymalne ustawienia dla pada dla tej gry, kombinuje juz kilka dni i ciągle nie jest tak aby było idealnie, zbyt nerwowo reaguje pad kierownica przy wchodzeniu w zakrętu, znowu jak sie ustawi wolno to ciezko o szybką kontrę, czy wejscia w ciasne zakręty bo zbyt wolno odkręca kołem :)

At this moment only two games (DiRT 5 and WRC 9) support DualSense features so it's quite difficult to judge.

Anyways, question. What about the horrible input lag that were present in the last gen console. Is there any input lag here as well?
I do belive that input lag issue was fixed or made less noticable back when game graphics were lowered and framerate was increased from 30FPS.

Xbox. To my knowledge, you're not able to use Dualsense features in 100% on PC.

There are people who race in top Leagues that use controllers, they even have an advantage in the rain. I use an Xbox controller and it's been solid in ACC. I am considering getting one of these, once the adaptive triggers work in ACC
