I love your reviews. There's one thing you could add to it. Everyone doing test drives on "empty" car. You should test them fully loaded or maybe two people and full boot? See how it handles then, on motorway and in the city.
Years ago I expected Asian cars to do better in the European market than they have. They offer so much value and reliability. I think the virtues of Asian cars might be more appreciated since the two Korean makers--especially Kia--seem to be tailoring their offerings better for European tastes. I really enjoyed this review of this car.
Like the ProCeed GT-Line, and like "no blank switches" - but could not live with the firm ride for a family car (firm ride ok for sportscar or track car), and the interior looks cramped - Thomas looked cramped in the back: low seat, and knees in the air! Thank you Thomas for your great work.
This in it's GT version, or it's successor, are very high on my list of car's to consider next time I'm buying one, looks really awesome and the warranty is just nuts.
I've bought this exact Proceed trim & engine (except the color), and has driven 10.000km already, its a really great car for the price. The suspension setup is a little stiffer than the regular Ceed SW, which is a good thing, as the regular SW is a little dull to drive but the ProCeed is not :)
how about noise levels? is the car quite at around 90-140km/h? I did test-drive one, however I felt like it was a bit noisy, when it comes to road noise...
Nice review again Thomas 😊 A minor thing on the GT-Line. Usually a ceed come with static turninglight. That is not a option on the GT design on the new Ceed. Other than that, I torn between the beauty of this and the practicality of the SW. In my new job I will drive 40-50.000 km/year so the comfort is all so important 🤔
You can get the Ceed SW GT Line, like I did. Face and interior is the same and slightly cheaper, you just miss on that "ass". You still get cool looking sporty back blinkers and nice looking albeit fake diffuser. For me, having a newborn and a mid-sized dog, the Proceed back was impractical. Let us know what you decided :)
I have a Hyundai Elantra 1.6 turbo, and my only regret is that there was no estate/wagon version. Of course 250 horsepower would be better than 200, but it is hard to complain when talking about a 1.6-liter engine.

Nice that they stole the 4 dotted led lights from Porsche. Taillights look like the new Panamera and Macan. Therefore the exterior is nice and up to date and sporty looking. Inside, however, is basic cheapness and looks 10 years old in fit and finish.
Looks nice from the outside, quite pretty really but it will be aged within 2 to 3 years, dashboard/facia is far to busy, the boot aperture and the drop in the boot area is to much of a drop, you cannot sit on the rear bumper for a rest/coffee/sandwich, no flat floor when seats are down. Just get a Polestar
It will never be a GOLF. Why on earth car manufacturers will not have proper rear folding seats is beyond me.....are they really that stupid.
I'd get a Golf Alltrack
Good review. Not my type of car. Looks like one of those new "looks like everybody else" car that want to be like german car but its not. Interior is so many different parts thats taken from random cars and models. Instrumentcluster looks 10 years old and some buttons is really bad finish. Steeringwheel is so thin...
thanks Frederik!
Nice car Thomas but rather focused to those nice legs of yours first. 😋
Thank you Fiona 😉
On social media this would be sexual harassment...but It's a car review channel and it's comment comes from female to male, not other way around so it is acceptable ;)

Not bad, but just like the Stinger, it's stolen it's design cues from other cars, in order to compete. No thanks.
It's a cool car, very competitive price.
