I'm brand new to fighters and feel embarrassed that I can't even do the first combo. The timing is just too tight, and for some reason Grodd performs his leap instead of charge, even though I pressed the correct buttons.

Canceling his "running charge" move after 1 1 2 can give him even more combos. It can even help his mix up game when he's on the ground. The timing is tight tho, feels almost inconsistent but that's probably just me.

combos are cool and all but i dont know how i can start them in an online match cause my oponents spam atks and i can only block them . as soon as i want to atk i get hit and i eat a combo. what should i do ?
p.s im new to fighting games (as if u couldnt have guessed that xD)

Lyr00 Try meter burning some of your moves that have armor, or back/forward three. Or you can block an unsafe string they throw out and punish it with your combos.
