For Grodd? If hes got meter there's only two answers and you won't like either of them. 1) have your TK shield up in trait, 2) don't get hit. Grodd can't fight superman very well :(
subbed can you pleas do a video on how to execute the b2 restand with the leap. I seem to do it either to slow or I end up jumping to far. any tips or tricks on this would be greatly apreciated. great work man
It took me a bit to get it down pat, the big thing is after the jump 2 connects but before you hit the ground, just hit back 2. That works with the games dial a combo system just the same as everything else. don't wait to hit the ground before you do the back 2 kick.
I have been playing against my son, who has been playing scarecrow. As Gorilla Grodd I literally have no idea how to deal with him. Whenever I try to get close, he gets me with that crazy chain of his. Chain chain chain chain chain chain. The only way to get through it is to use an ex charge, but only so much ex in the game. If I finally get in there, maybe with a lucky leap and throw, he then gases me and teleports away. I simply have no idea how to consistently get in and fight him mano a mano. Scarecrow's zoning ability is just too strong, and grod has no projectiles to deal with him. Any suggestion much appreciated! I love the idea of playing Grod, but if i can't even get close to the character I am fighting, I am not sure how I can possibly progress.
Not the easiest match for Grodd, you can't just jump cause his uppercut is so good, and he outranges you on everything. There is two ways to fight the match basically. 1) no trait on, you play slowwwwwwww. Walk forward and block, and pressure with b2 when you can. 2) trait on, now you can start punishing whiffs with his "punch yourself" move and ex it to get a full combo. That's basically the match, I got no grand design for you sadly its just the nature of the two characters movesets that Scarecrow dominates Grodd.
Grodd sadly is one of the worst characters in the game overall so he has a lion share of the bad matchups. Him vs aquaman is one of the all time worst matchups in all of fighting game history.

thanks. realise all these games have an element of rock paper scissor, but the mismatch is striking. any other such striking bad match ups?
