It snowed twice here in Alexandria,VA, in the winter season of 2011-12 but only one accumulated and it did not accumulate more than one-inch, so boring winter here:-(

Hey guys288 agreed. It became synonymous to the Blizzard of 2011 for me, as it aired in a local forecast I uploaded from right as the snow was moving in.

It actually can be thunderstorms at 33 degrees. Ive seen it. It wasnt thundersnow either. its just extremely rare. Even more rare than thundersnow.

That happened to me on March 23, 2011 where my Intellistar reported a heavy thunderstorm at 33 degrees for me.
