Eat Satay horizontally. Pull the stick from the side after your teeth is holding the meat. Safer that way.

How do they adjust to that scenario? …..Perhaps this teaching is happening already. If so please share that information. Your most awesome Jakarta episode yet.....I haven't seen Indonesian foodie TV shows reviewing these foods. The goat thing just meant how they slaughter the goat, slice the neck so the blood exits the body quickly and not left in the meat. Goat sate is rather common in Jakarta and it's usually not gamey, and young goat meat is particularly tender and delicious.
