Sometimes the codes will go away on their own once the computer realizes things are fixed. Might take a few startups, or need to be driven for a little while, Etc.
Honestly you cheapest route to clear codes and disable derates and force a regen is the OTR Performance Tools otrperformance.com/?ref=claykoon And buy a cheap code reader such as a Bosch.
Ancormane OTR is great for getting you out of a JAM, I know several people that have used it to save them from having to pay tow bills or clear codes. Not every owner op can afford to buy factory software and that is a great alternative. Remember they are a truck owner / operator not running a shop
Ancormane the OTR and a code reader will get most owner ops everything they need. They can find codes such as nox sensors dosing valves etc and replace them and regen and clear codes. Hard to beat for the money vs even an after market scan tool.

Paccar is such a criminal with this system, you got to buy the davi modem and software to clear codes, dealerships makes a killing off clearing codes and updating
Can we use the jpro DLA 2.0 data Connector or do it have to be only the nexiq 2 usb link connector. Also this software alone they want $3K for I'm sure it's a spot somewhere on the net you can get it for a hell of a lot less
Maurice Davis i am not sure we just have the nexiq2 and yes it is expensive. I’m sure there’s some bootleg software but you won’t be able to do any speed changes, or idle times etc because everything has to be done through Paccar for that ? Not sure what all you could do to be honest

I thought I could do the speed changes etc on my paccar from the Davie runtime I think 5.3 but I figured it doesn't cover the MX13 engines which is what I need it for. Let me ask you, upon purchasing the software is this only use for paccar engines could this be used as a crossover for late model Cummins engines as well. Also when purchasing the software does it come with a year subscription or is that a separate pricing as well

Mike Brown just quick response from Australia. I drive a kenworth with a paccar aka Daf or Leyland engine in one word Shit!!!! Engine's mx 13 under power I tow a B/Double tanker my gross is always 64.5 tons my net is 40.5 tons. I've been told one trailer is good two trailers dies in the ass. That's my 5 cents of fame bout the paccar engine.
It all comes out to what the government allows the builder to build a certain engine to their specs...Here in the U.S. every truck(Kenworth) is put on a dyno before it leaves the plant...Not sure about Australia but trying to stay within those specs is really getting tough and the class 8 trucks are being hit the hardest...
I been having a nightmare with my paccar I just buy this unit , they replaced both knox sensor , turbo , vgt , water pump , tensor belts in fly wheel components in the DOC , one harnes wires , and check engine light 💡 emissions related is back and back and back again , I really need you help i am about to cry , do you think you can help me I swing by to you shop
It’s just letting you know it has a code in it and recommends it be taken to dealer for them to plug it up. I have a link in my newer videos of a way cheaper alternative from OTR Performance to help you force a regen and clear the codes yourself without being ripped off at dealers. Good video, but the only problem is the software price. If you have a shop, you can pay the price, but for us, the owner operators is too much for a software that we will use just sometimes or maybe once a year. If you know what can I use for just clear codes in a paccar mx13, I'll be happy. Thanks

Koon Trucking On my Kenwort T700 truck, the Paccar MX engine was removed by the DEF system but the mechanics that removed the regeneration system should reinstall the software. At that time, they did not have it, but they promised that they would reinstall the program. I came two times and rang many times, swore, only promise but the work is unfinished. I vainly believed and paid not small money. My truck does not have the power and always jerks at speed dialing. Such a feeling that the injection of injectors is not regulated. Increased a lot of diesel fuel, they promised in the advertisement that the fuel consumption will decrease and the engine's power will increase. (I am sorry my English is not is good I understand a little)

Yes may require the repairs needed then a forced regen but you can do everything a dealer can do because it is the dealer software

DAVIE is the best because it is the factory software

I did the tuning now I do not use the DEF engine sabotage unsteadily jerks. can you install software on the Paccar MX?

It’s a good do it yourself video if you have the equipment but it’s sad you can’t repair your own truck without a computer these days
