Leveling the Cleric villager up to expert is actually quite easy. Just trade all your rotten flesh with it. It is a very common item, and it can give you emeralds, which 5 of them can give you an ender pearl. Edit: This basically means that two and a half stacks of rotten flesh will give you one ender pearl in case if you have excessive amounts lol Edit 2: i meant expert not master lol mb
Easiest way is to trade iron from an iron farm to toolsmiths and weaponsmiths, then trade the emeralds you got for redstone or lapis, which especially helps if you hate mining (hence the iron farm)
wrapped forest have always made it pretty simple for me. if you get a pretty open area, you can see 4 or more endermen pretty much at all times with just a few steps. not some auto farm, but very vaiable to get to the end

Because sure, endermen in a warped forest with looting gives you 3-6 pearls a minute, but that's only as long as endermen are there, and after maybe 10 minutes, all of them would be dead. So you'd have 30-60 pearls, then waiting a few minecraft days for a few to spawn again. And yeah thats enough for an end portal, but if you are talking about just pearls themselves, you might get 6 per minecraft day, in the safety of the overworld, without risks of the nether or needing to fight endermen for 10 minutes every hour or so, hoping you don't die cuz you get so focused on killing the endermen you font realize you are gonna die til its too late. And you might die on your way back to your portal home as well. Meanwhile, getting villagers or even living nearby a village, you get fewer pearls at a time, but way more efficiently over a long period of time and safer to do than going to the nether any time you want more pearls, and then risking dying during the hunt or on the way vack from the hunt, including the risk of falling in lava you didn't know was there as you are running back to the portal. So, yeah. Stick to villagers
Well i do the cleric one and it's easy First: Craft a Fletching Table and a stine cutter in case these type of villagers aren't in the village Two: get emeralds from mason and fletcher villagers by getting 10 clay balls to trade with a mason and 32 sticks to trade with the fletcher. Third : Just use those emeralds to level up the cleric till he becomes ecpert by trading your emeralds for redstone and Lapis and if you don't like bartering use your gold to trade for emeralds with him once he's level 2 (since 3 gold ingots gets you 1 emerald). Third: When you get him to level 4 just trade 5 emerald for every ender pearl. This process is better than trying your luck by trading or killing enderman and more straight-forward
Not even, trading with piglins should only take 30 seconds or less as bastion splits can be under a minute in good runs, including the time it takes to mine the gold
The tower strat is very effective too, and is sometimes used in pre 1.16 speedruns: build up like 40 blocks, dig a hole at the bottom, look at some endermen, they will fall into the hole, then drop a tnt at all the endermen whilst holding a looting sword and youre done
If you push the game to its limits and fill the entire render distance with piglins trading gold I'm sure you could get pearls faster than any other method

You can reset villager trades really simply by sitting in a minecart, opening their trading menu and then waiting for the minecart to move you away from the villager out of the render distance and THEN trading(there are also portal methods using end gateways as well)
Bro for me the best and easy way to get pearls is the warped forest biome. In my survival world i easily get 10 + pearls every time i go to the warped forest there are bunch of endermans spawing every where within 5 to 10 mins i get 10+ pearls

Build a 2-block-tall roof _(Endermen can't get you, Steve is short)_ 4. Stare many black men in the eyes. They'll get mad at you for supposed racism, then you can kill 'em for pearls once they bump into your roof. ezpz, right?
If u have a loot bastion what ur gunna do is this build a contraption that pushes a golden block next to them then pulls it back over and over cuz it will make the piglin drop the items in like a second
Piglin trading farm, mixed with a gold farm, get gold, then trade it to around a hundred or two piglins with leather boots standing on powered snow, the items fall down into your collection system, if your willing to play with mods, even vanilla style ones like create can make this 100% afk-able, your welcome.
Lol I always use this method. Piglin method is difficult because of those piglin brutes, while endermen can be trapped easily in a boat and killed in warped forest.
Actually the villager method is wayyy better because once you get the villager to master you can make an infinite villager trading farm with rails a minecart and a button to move away from the villager which freezes the trading cooldown making it an infinite trade
Or just get to the end, build an enderman farm and get pearls from there so you can then find the stronghold and go to the end (But you didn’t have to cut me off)
But to get looting three we need to get a villager which trades it and collect emeralds to get it so yes piglins are the best options for speedrunning in Minecraft
I use a cleric because i literally got 3 pearls after NINE STACKS of gold. Literally every piece of gold i collected the game. I didnt even make armot bc i found it in chests, all of it went to piglins. I actually discovered the cleric trade by accident bc i traded him all my XP farm rotten flesh and eventually leveled him up by accident
Something is wrong with minecraft. I made nether portal- can’t go right because tons of enderman- can’t go left because tons of piglin brutes. So I just made a farm out of it. Got tons of stuff from it and enderpearls.
i've seen a video where a guy made a Enderman farm in the warped forest on the nether roof and it was like 20% percent of the ends efficiency but it worked.
as someone that is NOT good at Minecraft in the slightest, it makes me happy that I can just stand under a two-block gap and kill enderman with an iron sword.
If u have time, wich you definitely have (“since this is not a speed run” or what ever he said) training is always the faster and more reliable way. Just have like ten clerics or piglin training system

That’s what I use if I get a looting 3 and spawn in a warped forest in a speedrun
But put it in your offhand, and use a stone axe or something because a gold sword has weak durability

I would use automatic goldfarm and piglin trader does it for you and is very fats. (only if I can't go in end and make enderman farm)
