My tape measure just arrived. When I went to install batteries, the screw for the battery cover is missing, rendering the tape measure useless.

how to turn off the beep while measuring
Hi there, there is a vocal cord inside the product, but the mute function was not considered during the design, and there is no program designed to turn it off.
You can't change it to feet?
You can, if you keep short pressing on the UNIT button it will change measuring units

Does it give you a figure for as you’re measuring like as you pull the tape out does it say what measurements you are on
The 3-in-1 laser tape measure tool uses a laser to determine the distance, and you can change the measuring unit from metric to imperial.
No, the tape has no affect on the display... only the laser

@@LG-hv5ve it does not come with an instruction manual and she does NOT explain how to use. It's just a fancy laser pointer. It does not display the measurements on the LCD.

@@paulweston9441 the units wont change unless the laser is turned on. also you must press the Meas/on button after you activate the laser for it to show distance on the display. took me all off 5 mins to figure this out.
