Oct 1, 2020 - I came out to my family! Sooo long overdue since I’m 30, but so necessary to become the person I know I truly am! This is the first video I’ve seen of yours in years! I’m so happy you’re well and thriving!
September 6, 2006, I went for a run and by the time I got home, I had to have my heart restarted in my driveway. Hugs, girl.❤️

I fell 40 feet off a cliff two years ago and walked away with very minor injuries. My tears are welling watching this. Thank you for these reminders

My rebirth was when I finally recovered from narcissistic abuse 2 years ago.
At this point, I want JO to be my mentor/friend. She has such a beautiful soul.

This is very insightful. Three years ago, my mother was on her deathbed and I asked her if she had any regrets. She told me: "No baby. I had a beautiful life." She truly had no regrets and peacefully transitioned to Glory.

I just got out of a relationship. The freedom I feel to take my life anywhere is so lovely!

My rebirthday is my actual birthday 16 Feb. Last year around that time I fell into a severe depression and I didn't want to be awake. I spent most of my time asleep on purpose and waking up felt like the worst kind of pain. But finally, I'm in a place where I thank God everytime I open my eyes in the morning because He got me through the most and I'm so grateful to be alive. ❤️
My rebirthday is also 16 Feb and it's also my birthday. I hope you are doing so much better!
I'm in that state of depression now. this video was so beautiful but I don't see the love. There is love in the world and in the people but not in me and not for me, I shouldn't be here.
I'm grateful for things in my life: i have an apartment and a government who supports me financially even though I've been on sick leave from university/been on disability pension since I was 20. I hope to get better to pay back but that's not much of a motivation when I live to fall asleep and wish death upon me so I wouldn't have to do it myself - I can't get even that done.

@@SirD1 In a trip to Brazil during Carnaval time. She was in a car with her family and some criminals blocked the passage in the road and started shooting with the intention of robbery

Wow! My rebirthday was just yesterday! One year ago, my last chemotherapy cycle was over! Just like u, I adquired a better perspective about myself and everything that happens to me. Since then, I've been giving love to every part of my body, enjoying every single opportunity to have the best life style as I can. Happy rebirthday for us all! 👏👏

And yet if you don't plan for tomorrow, tomorrow does come anyway. I'm not saying you should not live for today, but ignoring that tomorrow does come is very short-sighted and can lead to problems down the road when you are older. What you do today, matters for tomorrow

Wow, mine is March 17th. I was in a car accident with an 18 wheeler truck. I walked away with just a bruise on my thigh from the airbags on the door. This video is perfect timing as my anxiety is even further through the roof this month. Thank you so much. ♥️

My rebirthday is January 3rd, 2020. I got into a bad car accident and thought i was a goner. Everything happened so fast and i remember thinking, “that’s it? That’s how this ends?” Thankfully, i walked out with minor injuries. I learned that i needed to move with more intention throughout the rest of my life and enjoy it because up to that point, i overworked myself. I agree though, we tend to forget. And we always need to be reminded. Happy rebirthday Jo, we’re happy that you exist!
Hey, I could have written this comment... rebirthday on Jan 3rd 2020, bad car accident... I walked out with no major injuries, mostly shock. The accident happened in an area where there had been violent accidents... I had no choice but to accept a ride with complete strangers, I trusted my guts and nothing happened to me... And yes I often forget, especially because sooo much happened in 2020... this was a reminder.... thank you for sharing

Jo!!!! It doesn't even feel like it has been four years since this has happened to you. You are such a strong amazing and smart person. If you had died I would have never gotten to meet you on instagram live and that was one of the best days of my life. You inspire me everyday to be a better me and live life to the fullest. this hits me so hard because i recently had to go through tests for a enlarged spleen and possible cancer, and the fact i’m healthy really seems like a blessing and has revolutionized the way i view the world. sometimes i get such a profound appreciation of life doing the most miniscule things to the point of chills, but then other times im like “wow im fat” LOL. like girl you have a body!! be appreciative of that!!
it really is something that’s inconsistent, but it takes work and you learn to catch yourself
I don’t have a rebirth date but when I lost someone very near and dear to my heart, my entire perspective on life changed. I’ve really tried to be around or at least talk to my loved ones everyday and I’ve even decided to just go after the things that I enjoy and love in life because life is so short but so precious.
Death has a way of putting things into perspective
The impact that every word that comes out of your mouth has on me I can´t even put into words

Thank you so much for this video. I live in St. Louis and to many babies have been killed from the ages two to eighteen. I hear people that say I hate getting old. Those babies in the cemetery families wish they could have lived to get old. I have a chronic illness and thank God for saving my life.
That was shocking!! I'd like to say that no matter how many things you've experienced and wether you've had the things you wanted in life, it's extremely unfair to be dying at your 20s,30s or even 40s and 50s, and there's no way that by this point you will have lived everything that there is to be lived during a lifetime. I feel like, forgetting how important the gift of life is, wasting part of our time, being frustrated and angry and numb and not knowing whta to do next is as an indispensable part of life, as is being in love and blissful and knowing that you won't be here forever. We couldn't be consciously appreciative of whatever we have every single day , that would eventually get stressful and frustrating, that's what I think at least. We get to live our lifes to the fullest when we actually don't even realise we're doing it. You are amazing and an inspiration. Have a nice day

The way you tell this story is borderline prophetic. Like I feel like you are here to pass a message on to all of us. Your rebirthday videos have marked time for me in such a bizarre way... Interests come and go, language practice comes and goes, but then all of a sudden I am listening to Jo recount the story of getting shot and I remember crying in relief and bewilderment the first time I heard it and crying every time after. I think I will pick a rebirthday-- the anniversary of my dad's passing, Nov 9, 1999 because that is the event that taught me the brevity of life. This is a great tradition and you have influenced my mindset so much over the years. Thank you and God bless you always

You seem like such a cognizant person. I started watching your videos long ago when I first became interested in French and foreign language in 2017-18. I appreciate you sharing your reflections on the challenges you have faced and overcame thus far. Our conversations are comforting and inspiring each time. My father passed away On April 11, 2021. That day was like a rebirthday for me. I thought and feared the same thing that you had, which was how long will these memories and this spur of awareness to my own welfare last? I think the idea of a rebirthday is a good way to keep our own accountability in check and also to ponder the blessings that we have received this year. Thank you for your hard work. We are so fortunate to have you on this Earth💜
