    🌟 ABOUT ME 🌟
I currently live in a van with my fiancé Dylan. Our plan is to travel to all 48 contiguous states in the van in a year. We will be doing it all in our self-converted van. We will be working full-time on the road, so watch as we try to juggle it all and see what we learn along the way.

There's nothing more refreshing on a hot day. No joke. A little slice of heaven.

I live in Homosassa springs, Florida. There are tons of springs You can swim in here. You have to seek them out. They are not hard to find! My friend has a beautiful blue swim hole in her backyard. It goes down about 15 ft. Best swimming pool ever! 😊

Rock springs is beautiful - like a lazy river with a good current. The springhead rock area where you jump in is the prettiest part. Snorkel down the run or float on a tube.
I hate you didn’t see the springhead area of Alexander springs and snorkel around. It is underwhelming from the shore but it’s amazingly gorgeous at the springhead underwater. Go again.
Blue Springs near Orlando has a scary springhead. You can see lots of manatees and fish there too. Tube or snorkel down the spring run.

Weeki Wachee river is literally my favorite place in Florida. The park is ok but the river is where you want to be!

Oh man I’m a North Central Florida native who can be found at one of the very very many springs or beaches every single weekend, it’s my time to shine! 😂
Poe Springs, Salt Springs, Wekiwa Springs, Fanning Spring State Park, Blue Springs(not to be confused with Gilchrist Blue or Madison Blue Springs lol) Silver Glen Spring, Devils Ear Springs, Kelly Park/Rock Springs(idk why it has two names locals call it Kelly Rock Park), Devils Den(seriously breathtaking!), Peacock Springs State Park, De Leon State Park(Different than Ponce De Leon state park.. I think we started running out of names or something), Royal Springs(has a great high dive) and holy crap come back to Florida during late Feb-June, September, or October to avoid tourists and our two weeks of winter never occur during those months so it’ll be warm enough to tube down the Ichetucknee that’s a huge part of that spring, it takes a full day to go the whole length of it, and it is so gorgeous!! Rainbow springs and the Suwannee River are also both great tubing locations. Ginnie springs is a well known party location if you want a good time camp there on Memorial or Labor Day weekends! I haven’t been yet but there’s a warm spring in North Point, FL on my summer to-do list. While you’re checking out Florida state parks go to Florida Caverns State Park it’s not something you’d expect to find in Florida and has a lil “blue hole” spring within the park.
Lemme know if y’all need beach suggestions because I got you on those as well 😉

Great video. You saw most of the best springs, but as a Florida Native, here’s a couple more to check out: Fanning Springs (State park), Manatee Springs (State Park) and floating the Ichetucknee Springs/ River in the summer time …it’s amazing

My favorite is also Three Sisters. You need to go in the summer. You will stay in the water all day. We were there last weekend and saw one manatee only but the water was amazing. I am a native Floridian and I think the springs are the best part of Florida.

    • @LitaandDylan

They are such an amazing part of Florida! We will be back in the fall again haha, but not the summer

    • @504ever4

Three Sisters is awesome! In the summer and fall it is perfect for kayaking and swimming. In the winter, it is perfect for manatee viewing from the boardwalk. And they visited at the perfect time to swim with manatees too. I kayaked there in October and there were no manatees yet. Currently closed until at least November but I can't wait for it to reopen!

If you haven't yet, Warm Mineral Springs Park is in North Port, it is a "hot spring" at 85 degrees and is full of minerals. I believe it's the only "hot spring" in FL even though it's not really that hot lol

Stop telling the world about the springs here. There’s enough tourists and people moving to Florida. Let’s keep the springs to the people who know about them already.
