Glad to hear from you John, been listening to your old troopie songs as I fill out ammo magazines for soldiers to use on their last day of training this week. It is interesting to reflect on the sacrifices made in the World Wars and us being on the cusp of more open Great Power struggles again. They said WWI would be, "The War to end all Wars", but it seems mankind hasn't quite learned from such in our hubris with us nearing III. If the autocratic regimes decide that war is preferable to peace and our mission of deterrence fails, we'll be ready to fight tonight.
