Hello from you big internet sis from Florida. 1st I want to tell you that I’m incredibly proud of you for finding a way to follow your dreams! 2nd I want to tell you to get some bug spray! And one or 2 citronella oil burning lamps. you can pour the oil back in the bottle when you travel and they really do help keep the bugs away. You don’t want to look back and not remember anything from your 2 months because all you can remember is putting cortisone on your skeeter bites. Big love! 💜💛

I would like to see your cooking set up because you have a lot of cooking pots and pans etc. 4. How do you anchor all that stuff down in case you have to jam the brakes on? 5. What's the tent for? Very cool, but listen i have a 2018 Tiguan i’ve camped out of about 50 times or more now. First i used to just lay my seats flat and place twin air mattress in the back and it fit like a glove but didn’t give me much head room. I’m a 6’2” male, 180lbs. Then i got my rooftop tent and i never slept in my car for many many months on my camping excursions, but honestly all the work you did really could have been done easier with just leaving the seats in and slighting leveling the back truck to the seats with lay very very flat, i can sleep on one side with the passenger seats pushed up, yiu can still use the void under the seat for storage anyhow, cool but very overkill unless you make a drawered camper buildout, which is how i got led here by an AI chatbot, cause i’m want a backup sleep spot when i’m in an urban area.
I think you’re adorable and you just help me make my decision as a 65-year-old woman to do the same thing! I’ll share with you I found a netted shelf type envelope that sits on your ceiling inside your car that’s handy for towels, clothes etc. I saw it on Temu if you’re interested. I wondered if anyone actually turned this car into a living space. I have a ‘21 Tiguan, I’ve really considered just going and camping out somewhere to get away from it all. But everything else is crazy expensive. I definitely wondered about the bed situation because those seats when they’re folded down are hard 😂. How much did you rely on the car for power? I like the way you put up the “blinds” I had the idea of running bungee cords and getting the black out shades. Your setup looks very cozy!

Since you need to sleep with your windows cracked for airflow, I recommend getting window screens so the bugs don’t get in.
